It has nothing to do with distributors holding it; instead it is more likely that certain market regions get it delivered first.
Anyway, according to Fewture this soon to be dissapointment will hit the Japanese market on July 30.

HL-Pro is based in Japan, but it's main markets are the European and Middle Easter regions. Therefore, those regions get their products first. The North American market region provides little revenue to HL Pro, and few items are delivered in small quantities via PBM Expess. Which happens to be an European distributor with an American branch based in Florida. This is the first time that HL Pro is selling their products in the Japanese market, and they partnered with Fewture to not only sell their products in Japan, but also to the Asian Pacific market thru Action Toys. For these last two market regions Fewture calls the shots and dictates when will be available. And like I posted yesterday, Fewture stated that Gattaiger will be hitting the Japanese market on July 30. So yes, certain market regions will get products first. The same concept applies to movies, etc.

Getting closer and closer to canceling my PO on this guy... time to move on to other really cool toys that are coming out as scheduled... the ironic part is if this release had came out as scheduled, I'd be happy to pick on up. However, the endless delays and push back on its release is now putting it at odds against other cool looking toys that just screams buy me instead. Guess, I'll never be getting a HL PRO release after all, this would of been my first purchase from this company.

Got my payment request for the Chrome version from Amiami. I'm not getting it because I don't have the cash so it should come up for someone else.

Well, I'll be damned! Gattaiger has been released, huh?! Hey, it only took about a year from the moment it was pre-ordered. Very common for every company, right? I'm not expecting much, so it will be a surprise if it turns out to be a good figure. Remember, just because it has die cast and it is heavy, does it make it a good figure. }D

I received my normal and chrome version from AE yesterday. I was so excited to see the chrome version. I opened the box. The ship is so heavy. Paint app is ok on both the ship and the robot. Definitely not Bandai paint quality.
I was trying to pose the robot with apparently greasy fingers and so there were fingerprints on both of the chromed upper legs. I used those microfiber cloths to remove the prints... such a really bad idea! I was able to remove most of the prints but I there are hairline scratches on the chrome paint from the microfiber cloth. I wanted to share this so this doesn't happen to your robot figure too.

You can't view that unless you're a member. The "view as a guest" option errors out.
