Agreed SRC is fantastic. Especially when paired with a subject that really shines with the articulation. But God Sigma and God Mars are not exactly robots you expect to be able to cross their ankles behind their head like a 10 year old Russian Gymnast. They are nice figures. But the specific subjects are not really playing to the lines strengths. Especially if the price point is perceived as a bit high for what you get.

Doesn't seem to be any video reviews popping up for this guy. I'm a bit worried about some comments here (mine went to my inlaws in Japan so i have a little wait ahead of me). For those that have it, how would you say it compares to SRC Daizyujin/Megazord? just got mine Ive put Mattel Voltron just for the fun i mean they all have the same blue and yellow legs but i guess Voltron was the first robot who have them back to the figure its kinda smaller than i thought but its awesome even with less diecast in matter of facts it make me want the SOC version more now wow, did not know he was that small, i thought at least he would be as big as the Megazord but for the looks of it his as big as the SRC Mazinger Z. hmmm now im concern of how the sells went for him. So wanted to have the Voltron figure.

I agree with the sentiment that there's plenty of room for both SRC and SOC of the same robot; SOC God Sigma provides the gimmicks, SRC provides the articulation.
With that in mind, I wouldn't mind seeing SRCs of other bots whose SOC presentation is sorely lacking in the articulation department, like Zambot 3.

This guy finally came in for me as I picked him up after the discount from amazon showed up... for a figure under $48 he's not bad at all. Paint apps seemed a little rougher than his getter and kaiser buddies but he is more intricate in detail than either just as equally. Hopefully, bandai will make god mars to complete the duo at least ...

Hi all, here's a quick look at Super Robot Chogokin Space Emperor God Sigma. Opening Credits Original gattai sequence Gattai sequence version 2 (shows more detailed sequence) Godsigma in action Movable wings on the Big Wing God Shield Musou Ken!!God Sigma has various finishing "slices" in the series. -Musou Ken Karatakewari (slicing an opponent in half vertically, like slicing bamboo) -Musou Ken Juumonji Kiri (cross slash) -Musou Ken Suihei Kiri (horizontal cut) -Musou Ken Gyaku Kesa Giri (diagonal slash) -Musou Ken Hangetsu Giri (half moon slash) -Musou Ken Isshin Zuki (lunging thrust) -Musou Ken Ichimonji Giri (fast straight slash) Like an idiot, I forgot to take a pic of Godsigma posed in Big Wing Attack mode (he only did this attack twice in the whole series). Maybe next time Big Wing Attack: [/b] The Good-Diecast parts include --Main joints connecting to the torso --Upper halves of the lower legs --Kurai Shock cannons on Godsigma's shoulders -Godsigma weighs 154 Grams -Highly poseable and is fun to handle, but I guess at this point, it's to be expected of this line I guess (would've been an ultimate fail if they dropped the ball in this category too, lol ). The Bad-Not much diecast compared to most SRCs nowadays -No Sigma Breast Final attack gimmick for the wings -Not much accessories -No God Tomahawk ( Again? First on the SOC, then here... hnnn..) -No chrome on the sword The UglyWhat else? The size. It really feels like a step or two backwards. Making this figure as tall as Mazinger Z?! Why not Mazinkaiser sized? WTH Bandai? Overall, a decent and fun figure to handle, but that's about as good as it gets. I don't see this hitting high sales numbers for Bandai, generally due to most folks already having the SOC version and this figure pales in comparison to that in so many ways. Plus the character itself is not really that popular I think? It would've been more palatable, IMHO, if the figure was a) taller, or b) heavier or c) below $40. Sadly, it fails in all categories. I do appreciate what Bandai's going for here by shrinking the SRC line down in terms of scale, ("back-to-basics" ST versions of the SOC "biggies" while maintaining an acceptable SRP) but they should've at least tried to shoot for one of the three categories I mentioned above. The vintage ST line figures were really heavy to hold. Sadly, I think the real casualty here will be the likely cancellation of SRC Godmars in light of low sales figures of this release. I hope I am wrong. Gold

awesome review Gold like you said God Sigma isnt that famous, some people don't know him at all i didnt watch the anime but i had the old chogokin toy, and honestly the animation isnt that goot the robot proportion change in every scene also the name of his finish attacks remind me of Daimos finish attack and if Bandai want to release God Mars they will because Mazinger Z sales alone will cover it up God Sigma dont need to be that successful in my opinion

Completely agree with those last statements Gold. In fact, I'm holding off from buying Godsigma until Bandai announces SRC Godmars (if they do, of course).
And I know that, by doing so, I'm not contributing to sales of the figure. But hey, I'd rather have the set of two gokins than just one, and I'm not risking it. Also, for what it is, Godsigma seems slightly overpriced.

Thanks guys. Yeah I am hoping that they still release Godmars and the other cancelled SRCs, but I'm not holding my breath. This setback in terms of scale just feels like another nail in the coffin, but maybe that's just me. Hmm... it just occurred to me, For the rest of 2015, all we've got to look forward to from SRC are the -Grendizer with Spacer (June end) -Jumbo colors Great Mazinger (out now?) -Kurogane colors Mazinger Z (Aug) -Hell and Heaven Genesic GGG (Sept) Huh, 3 of the 4 I mentioned are webstore exclusives (Maz is a mass retail release). Not a good sign. Gold

...and all four are repaints, minus Grendizer's new head and Spacer. Pretty lame on Bandai's part... }| with all the money they make and all their ability looking at it in whole Bandai is a pretty lame company and very lazy it would seem.without ambition and drive to make money like other smaller companies have ,Bandai just chugs along doing whatever they feel like with no regard for challenge or braving new things.. It's always the obvious or sure fire choices. This is why I loved Cms even with money issues they every time took gambles and the not so easy route.

Bandai probably has their teams on other projects. Working for a big theme park company I know how that goes. There are some major initiatives I want to complete but I just don't have workers available because they got sucked into another product managers initiative. We will get more super robots when they finish whatever is blocking them. I'm sure of it.
I secretly hope those engineering teams are working on more SH figuarts figures for Star Wars: the force awakens. The Ep4-6 Stormtrooper they did is f'ing amazing!!
