faelon, do you have the regular SRC Great Mazinger? If you do have it, don't you think the head is way too small for the rest of the body? }|

Oh I do think it's too small. But I think using the Machinder color scheme, where the head was traditionally a touch too large amplifies the effect. The already small head seems even smaller to the eye with the blue color scheme as you are expecting it at a different proportion. It just makes an already small head look worse.

Bro, I thought you were going to use the Yamato Great Mazinger head as a replacement. I guess you changed your mind? I know the feeling... chopping up a new figure to use it as spare parts hurts deep... BUT, you could always put the SRC Great Mazinger's tiny head on the Yamato, and that way it would not be a waste. }D

"Great Mazinger is pays homage to his toy roots with this Jumbo Color version of the Super Robot Chogokin! The blue limbs, extra red, and shiny belly logo all evoke the classic Jumbo Machinder figure. This toy is being offered through the Dynamic Productions official online shop, the Tamashii Web store, and even a special autograph signing event with Go Nagai. The event will be held June 13, 2015. After that, the figure will be offered online. MSRP is 4,630 yen." www.collectiondx.com/news_item/52815/super_robot_chogokin_great_mazinger_jumbo_color

Looks beautiful in that JM color theme... them colors really make this gmaz pop. But that head needs a shot of roids to make it in proportional size to suit the body... ... head so small it looks like a fish blew him so damn hard it shrunk three hat sizes smaller. zozo-mag

i know. i wish bandai would just do us a favor and include a larger size head on the G Maz as an add on accessory, but im sure the headhonch at src doesnt want to lose face....or his head. lol
prob its the same guy who likes small heads and thin waists on his super robots....oh oh dont forget to include the pelvic thrust capability duhuh.
