$250 tops, but most likely it will be $200 IMHO. Plus maybe an extra $60 to ship internationally?

I was thinking they could charge up to $400. Shipping could be $100+ to the U.S. given the weight of wood and protection required and of course size. I won't get this so don't have a horse in the race.

Considering the old Operational V5 base SRP was $70-$80 and had electronics, and this new one roughly uses the same parts, but now lacks the electronics and has about 60% more bulk due to the island platform. I'm really hoping it won't go over $250. Plus I don't think they have to pay any licensing fees. Gold

Gokin Gear just put up more pics on their FB page. Still no word on price and release date. Kinda wish the panels were blue instead of yellow. I wonder if customized stickers can fix this? This made me go "whut?" Apparently they are considering doing the Voltes Pilots in 1/6 (12") Scale. So maybe that Megumi figure is a rough start. Also, in case folks missed it, Gokin Gear announced that their next project will likely be the Castle of Lions from Voltron. Not sure how that will sell as there's not much to interact with for the Lions IMHO. Maybe they might get some ideas from this unreleased (?) Jakks Pacific Castle? A friend sent me this image. I didn't even know Jakks was considering doing a Voltron line a while back. Gold

Gokin Gear just updated their FB page, citing high cost/high price point, they've decided to split the CBF into 2 sets. The Hangar and the island. So folks who want just the hangar will have to option to get it cheaper. I'm still hoping the whole thing clocks in below 300 USD. Gold

Just an update of sorts, just saw a post on the Gokin Gear FB, it looks like they're still working on this. Supposedly they will announce something soon?

Wow!!
Now this is what I'm talking about. I don't even have the figure. LOL!!
I'll definitely start with the base though.
I'm really surprised that none of the big toy companies have thought of making bases. What an untapped market.

@ Gold i dunno whats taking Gokin gear too long to finish it... but it seems our local customizers already beat them to it.. already seen two finished custom CBFs from two different customizers.. and already taking preorders.
