Yeah, I'll shamelessly admit I bought this to go with the Chogokin Hello Kitty. Good thing I had 3273 points at CD Japan to use which made this purchase pretty cheap! Gotta love point systems.

Can anybody give an educated guess, based on previous experience, on how much shipping would be to Texas? Or rather has anybody bought a similar item in the US?

Can anybody give an educated guess, based on previous experience, on how much shipping would be to Texas? Or rather has anybody bought a similar item in the US? CD Japan has a shipping calculator. For the US, shipping is $7.56 SAL Small Packet. No tracking and is the slowest option.

Thank you. That's much better than the $20 Bandai Online is charging.
I'm starting to see a pattern with them.

Just order one too, along with a figurarts zero doraemon I also threw in Nobita for good measure. :-) I was so impressed by the heft of the first Hello Kitty that I bought way too many but was disappointed by the feel of the Nobita and Doraemon (I know, I know they were never marketed as a Chogokin product).

^Thanks, PB. At least I won't get my hopes up and expect something with heft when I handle Doraemon and Nobita. My Melody should be hefty though.

Dont get your hopes high though, figurarts zero figures are more like well sculptured PVC statues, definitly no diecast, at least not in those SHF zero DBZ figures i own.

I have the robot spirits doraemon, figuarts nobita and figuarts perman. I like them all quite a bit even though they are all plastic.
The nobita and perman look great and pose well. The doraemon is good but has some small issues - nothing to make you stop buying the figure though. I talked with chachipower after I got mine and he said every doraemon he has seen is the same. Check out his review video to see what I am talking about.

Here you go, Charles' review (chachipower):
If you search "robot spirits doraemon" on YouTube a few more reviews come up. The thing that throws a lot of people off is that doraemon came out under robot spirits because he's a robot, while nobita, perman, etc. came out under figuarts because they are humanoid.

Looks pretty nice, I am thinking to get it... DO IT! Jokes aside, looks like they totally step up the game on the engineering when compared to the Hello Kitty. Those concealed cockpits and visors gimmicks are awesome!

Seems to be all plastic unlike Hello Kitty? Don't think they would call it "Chogokin" without any diecast at all. From the video, the body looks like diecast. Though I wouldn't be surprised if it has less than Hello Kitty, as the trade off of the new gimmicks and moving parts. Mind is on its way from cdjapan. Hope it doesn't disappoint...even though its really my wife's.
