nice quick review bro, my only feedback is while you at it why you didn't attached kaiser Scrander on v2 or even the new wingle version and thats weird since my wingle go and fit really nice i can pull it out easy too, the only problem i had is with the sword holder it was insane to pull it out (that peg goes fully inside for sure (on my unit) ) also on my cape version i don't have any problems pulling it out or putting it on its like swapping fists so what you are saying is that some SRCs are not %100 identical like like some of us think ? lastly dealing with a SKL kaiser is like dealing with hedgehog i remember when i first got the cape version i got stabbed alot and i was been careful lol also a Grendizer figure will stab like you own him money EDIT after taking a quick look at this release i found out that both the sword holder and the wingle go inside the SKL Wingle version about %90 also i found out an easy way to pull the wingle out just hold the wing at the bottom and push it softly upward it will disconnect easily

To be clearer, the Kaisers have this little catch or a lip in the middle of peg hole that wont let us push the wing all the way in.... Its molded in plastic. So its permenant obstacle. The wings still click in, they just dont go all the way in like older SRCs.
EDITED: The older SRCs either dont have those odd step (src shin mazinger) or thicker/deeper step then Kaisers (src mazinger)

Nice tip S gokin.
Yeah, the reason i didnt put the Chrome Kaisers Scrander on the V2 SKLs was, that unfortunately one of the little winglet peg broke off the Scrander when i dropped him on the hardwood floor....so the scrander is permenantly out of commision in the drawer somewhere. Sad....but i dont want to see it broken like that
And yes. Go look at the peg hole in the back of SRC Mazinger and then look at your Kaisers back peg hole. The top part of the Inside the peg hole, The Kaser has the thinner shallower molded step.

supergetterv, that is something that makes a lot of sense. I need to go pull mine out a little so it doesnt scratch the paint. Thanks for the advise!

sorry to hear about it bro, a while back i accidentally drop my GX-01R it hit the edge of the cabinet then hit the floor, i honestly thought that's it & i couldn't even look but when i did, it just got a tiny scratch on his shoulder lol i was like money well spend this is a true chogokin Z for you and i guess with time the SRC wont be kinda the same any more, Bandai is trying not to make them not %100 identical so they can sell more and more of the same looking figure with a minor updates lastly thank you for clearing the fog around the pegs and the back slots

The top part of the Inside the peg hole, The Kaser has the thinner shallower molded step. indeed the peg-holes of the SRC Shin Mazinger and Mazikaiser(ver.1) while they have the same wide the inner design of them is different making the inside less deeper. heck i even notice for testing that Grendizer's peg hole is even less deeper makinf the connection peg more expose comparison Shin's peg-hole makes the scrander more flush to him Kaiser's peg hole while not bad you can still see it doesn't end as flush like Shin's but close enough Grendizer on the other hand is way to expose in the gap, however this doesn't mean that its loose or anything, they still connect properly and solid (at least on my copies) just like the others. i guess is meant like this to give the proper clearence with the shoulder harkens when on the figure. Its interesting to see that Bandai made so many different design for a simple peg-hole that should do a simple job, weird huh?

A few of the other SRC's that use that same 5 sided back hole have a similar issue. I can never get the Mazinger Z Scrander to peg into Kantam Robo properly.

very nice comparison droutmaster i understand it takes alot to do this kind of comparison so thank you for your efforts and your time your photos leave no doubt that the SRCs are not %100 identical and if some parts fit its not going to be a perfect fit

Get it while it's cheap. Cdjapan sale www.cdjapan.co.jp/product/NEOGDS-157213 Almost pulled the trigger on this deal but I just purchased BlackWing earlier today from Amazon. Waited for weeks for it to go on some sort of discount and today it dropped to around $163. Which is closed enough to the price I'm willing to pay for that piece. It also helps that I got over $130 in Amazon gift card balance that's been sitting in my account for months.

i got myself one for a price I couldnt resist.. but i just noticed the Wingle wing was made to seperate easily into two parts.. i cant help but wonder.. if this was intentionally made just so that the 2 wing parts can be compatible for the head and hips attachment at the back for an upcoming Wingle figure. Sounds good to be true.

they could have made it in one solid piece just for SKL himself.. no sense to seperate it in two parts unless....
yeah we could only hope hehe..

More likely just the result of design and manufacturing tolerances. That doesn't look like a connection they intend to be user swappable. No it could be doing it this way allows them to reuse certain parts in the future for another offering.
