nice updated pics. they should also include blue flame effect for Godannar.. like the one found in Maxfac's version... that one looks better. and another thing... the SRC line is sort of a testing ground for future SOC projects.. so hopefully a full transforming Godannar is in the works.. hey Bandai.. it can be done... studio half-eye already did it.   |

not sure of that, figures are often shown with a stand but can hold by themselves at home...

thats not necessarily true. plenty of times they pose figures in those cases with stands just for extra stability in case it gets bumped etc.

Yeah, the flame is just plastic, and this figure is an SRC. It should have more than enough metal to counterbalance the weight of the flame, I'm sure.

Mainly money, it's a great piece but I need the cash now and with a SRC version I'll still have a Godannar figure in my collection so I won't totally miss it. I did the same with my SOC Gunbuster and God Sigma, sold those to get the SRC versions because I needed the cash but I still have those characters in my collection. |

call me crazy, but i think the src gunbuster with the extra effect parts and the blast cape look far better than the soc.

Godannar looks really nice BUT the flame on his head are supported by a stand that mean he cant hold the weight of the flame That's just because they generally support figures with a stand at trade shows. All the people and movement sometimes jostles things and I can tell you from experience constantly opening the display cases to fix things is both annoying and looks bad. Plus there is nothing worse for your product than the viewer to see it fallen over in the case. So stands are the safer better option. |

call me crazy, but i think the src gunbuster with the extra effect parts and the blast cape look far better than the soc. It depends on what you are looking for. The SRC certainly poses better, and creates an impressive look and fantastic pictures when the effects set is included and using a Tamashii Stage 5 stand to get it off the ground. I think the SOC has better coloring and finish, and is the far more interesting figure with its full transformation. Plus it has that fantastic launch tower display stand that really makes it stand out on the shelf. The SOC is ready to go out of the box. For the SRC the figure costs less than the effects set and stand needed to achieve that really top notch look. I also find the SOC a bit less frustrating. Those leg parts on the SRC are a nightmare. Oh and I think the Godannar is my favorite of the announced SRC's. He just looks more awesome each time I see him. While I hope they also include a blue flame piece, I would be content if they were to instead offer it packaged in a Go Okusaer set . I'm actually kind of hopeful that we might see a Neo Okusaer and a Go Okusaer as they are mainly repaint/minor retools of each other. |
