I have the wings on my Black version and changed their poses a few times..never broke. I didn't try these yet but I'm assuming they should be fine. They just need extra care while handling that's all.

They did not and that is why I am returning mine They did not do sh*t on this except make people so fearful that they use hair dryers on the joints and freakin wings What a joke I have spent hours looking at chinese dudes vid reviews and the wings sections are screwed together pretty tight and the wing sections literally squeek as if there is a click mechanism But its not I am sorry yours broke but i will be returning mine even before looking I hate fewture for this continuous failure I am hanging on to my grendizer and the spazer Hopefully if they ever make a mazinkaiser they will not this wing crap on it arrrrggggh

Darn, that's bad.
I ended up gluing the original pair in open position. I have thought of maybe trying to modify the replacement pair - broken right wing, just like the first - with some rare earth magnets and "ratchet-style" notches, à-la Evolution Toys. If that doesn't work, I'll just glue them in folded position. Not sure when I'll do that, if I ever do. My Shin Getter looks fine with its (glued) open wings.
Am I repeating myself? Again? I think I've posted this before. Eh, I'm getting old...

The first time I could see it as an honest mistake, an unforeseen problem. sh*t happens. But the second, third and fourth time - replacement wings, black repaint and red-black repaint -, I hope they're not expecting us to believe that they didn't see it coming. Yeah, when you go pick up your brand new $500 Shin Getter, you shouldn't have to stop by Home Depot on the way back. ... But it looks soooo good, still. I have a toxic relationship with that figure. Dat ass... Attachment Deleted

Poor design with bad customer service I would have preferred plastic one piece extended wings instead of the articulated! Oh well cant win them all

Great pictures again!! I can see all the different colors in his paint application. Really beautiful.
I love the way the backdrop goes with him too. Good choice.

I just got the black version of this figure. It's spectacular! But, it arrived with a broken wing. I didn't buy the cheapest one on eBay - I got the one that was $50 more from a seller with 100% positive feedback. And, it paid off. I brought it to his attention, and he contacted Fewture. They're sending him replacement wings. He's giving them to me at no cost with free shipping - and refunding me $50! Often, you get what you pay for. But, I'd like to fix the broken wing so I have 2 sets. I've read various ideas in this thread - most interestingly placing a rare earth magnet in the joint. But, has anyone actually done this? Is there someplace I can find instruction? Does anybody have a solid fix? I appreciate your help.

I know you can buy ball joint for action figure. Maybe a very small one, with a touch of paint, can do the job. If you want a permanent fix, there is always the option to glue them together. Not the best solution, but since it will be on display, and you probably never change the posture, it's better than nothing.
Or maybe a very small screw, one for glasses.

If the screw is loose, you can try a drop of nail polish in the hole, or glue for scrapbooking. It can be easily removed and the screw will fit better.
Let me know if it works. Mine are not broken, but we never know.
