this is literally out from now where i guess Bandai strategy is keeping their plans on low level these days i really dont know the character that much but it remind me of a vintage robot i have and its an SRC so it wont be that expensive (hopfully) after more details maybe i will get it if it got a green light for production

Took some digging but see below robotjapan.proboards.com/thread/22153/never-released-toys?page=2It was literally one of the first few SRC that they teased when they launched the line. Bandai just finally got around to it.

Too bad Bandai stopped doing Sentai SOCs after Battle Fever and Leopardon. This would have made an awesome SOC with full transformation gimmicks.

if the photo is new then i guess it have a good chance for production speaking of Sentai SOC personally i want to see Daizyujin i dont think it will happen.. Bandai has an on-going line for diecast DX transforming modern versions of super sentai robots.. which infact started from your Daizyujin.. it will be ridiculous for bandai to compete with thier own line in which both will be just the same product.. just do thier buyers a favor.. they better off making robots that hasnt been released yet than just repeating the same stuffs over again.

Yay! A new SRC Sentai bot to add to the collection. We hope...
Bandai may yet make a SOC Daizyujin. As we see with the bazillions of Mazinger and Getter variants they spit out annually, it is not so much a matter of "has it been done" it is a question of "is there a viable market at the price point?" As Takara has discovered with their expanding Transformers MP "Masterpiece" line, there is a strong market for quality detail oriented nostalgia targeted collectibles. The two "Holy Grails" of such over here in the west, should they decide to target us, are the Daizyujin/MMPR Megazird and the Golion/Voltron bots.
Noe given that they have the plastic Legacy version out there, I would almost argue that Daizyujin might be a strong contender for the SOC DX treatment, at an even higher price point. It would certainly seem well suited to the DX lines demographics and disposable income.

Its not always that im an Optimus Prime collector so ill buy all Primes takara shoves in our face.. its sometimes im a Masterpiece collector so i want Takara to release all the autobots so i dont tempt myself to buy third party products like not-huffer or not-hound hehehe.. or i want Takara to give us a MP Galvatron so i can finally make a dio of MP Rodimus/Hot Rod vs Galvatron TF movie battles in my shelf. Noe given that they have the plastic Legacy version out there, Legacy zords has diecast parts.

Actually bandai did make SRC megazord and dekaranger. So fingers crossed. I am really hoping for the src one to materialized.
