All diecast toys from robots to cars, the majority of the element used is zinc mixed with other minerals. Now if the parts were machined steel instead of diecast then I can see it being "better" than diecast and thus more expensive.

I found an interesting tid bit about this figure.
that according to my favorite korean toy blog, this fugure is indeed made of material that is on many high end bicycles. A Type of carbon fiber...this is very interesting and exciting. It supossedly feels cold to the touch and as strong or even stronger then steel, but lighter. Very cool.
I cant wait to have this fig in my hand.

Ooh, bit OT, but NEC just revealed new bioplastic that mimicks super glossy Japanese lacquer ware. They say its hoping to have it consumer ready by 2020 in various products such as automotive interior of all things.
I hope that list includes action figures.

I will NEVER buy from amiami again since they refuse to declare a less value with their receipts. The postal customs charges in Egypt went from WORST to sh*tTIEST WORST IN THE UNIVERSE. I think hlj do not declare less value too! So, what I am gonna save with the purchase, will be paid the triple to the unfair postal customs charges in Egypt.

I guess we're lucky in the US since we don't pay custom fees on certain toys and collectibles.

Like really illegal. Like they can get in a ton of expensive trouble with their own tax and customs authorities. Which is generally viewed as a bad business decision when you are an exporter. I know this may seem shocking depending on where you live, but in some (substantial) parts of the world the tax and customs agencies are not completely corrupt. And lying to them is not considered a normal business practice under any circumstances.
