You just told me to stop talking about the item and then tell me that this is a forum where we can all discuss opinions. You're talking in circles, no you don't make sense, and I don't know if it's because of a langauge barrier but you seem to have a hard time comprehending what I'm relaying in very simple sentences. Just leave me be, and I'm going to continue talking about Baikanfu as stated above. Please and thank you. ------------------------------------------------------------- Edit: I just noticed that you said I'm "conversing with you" - Yes, I'm asking you to leave me alone after you responded to me unecessarily and out of context in the first place and have continued to pester me in a harassing manner. Stop the weird crap. You've had nothing to say to actually retort or dismay anything I've stated as slights about the product, so I don't even know what you thought you had to say in the first place. I don't even know the guy or why he got so hurt about me not being overjoyed that he felt the need to try me in the first place, so it's what it is. I agree with you, though. Sigh... Man, seriously? I said if you are so unsatisfied with the item, then simply don't talk about it. I didn't tell you NOT to talk about it and be quiet did I? You are not making any sense; and you are going all Donald Trump on me over something so trivial? You do what you want to man, you seriously like to nit pick on little things. I'm done with you, such a disappointment. #1 TJ, you are the one who is conversing with me dude. Who is going in circles here? Like I said, such a disappointment you are. If you are not ready for a heated debate then why converse in one to begin with? You've got issues man. Running away like a dog with its tail in between its legs is really unattractive. There is a saying - 'Small-minded men cannot understand the ambitions of great men'. #2 TJ, STOP. JUST STOP MAN. If you don't even care about what I am saying to you, then why are you constantly editing your post based on my replies about you? Learn to 'let it go' already. I'm already done with you. So stop going all Trump on me. Who's harassing who now? Who's butt hurt NOW? f**k me sideways XD Looks like Sentinel's Baikanfu earned more than what it's worth for lol Grow up - You are called Kuma, not a cub! And TJ... you are not going to get this anywhere, but being a guy who likes to help others let me say this... don't let your insecurity get the best of you. It's unattractive and it only leads to messy situations. NOW back to the subject. When combining KenRyu into Baikanfu, has anybody tried not removing his shoulder parts to fit him in? Is that even possible? As you can see from my photo, you need to remove the shoulders parts. Has anybody tried to fit KenRyu inside without doing so?

If you can't answer the question that I asked about the item, can you stop conversing with me in general? It's like you've caught the football (tried reading my posts,) started running the wrong direction (complete noncomprehending of what was written) and then just kept running straight out of the stadium ala Forest Gump (dragging on the nonsense.) Edit: I just noticed that you said I'm "conversing with you" - Yes, I'm asking you to leave me alone after you responded to me unecessarily and out of context in the first place and have continued to pester me in a harassing manner. Stop the weird crap. You've had nothing to say to actually retort or dismay anything I've stated as slights about the product, so I don't even know what you thought you had to say in the first place. There was no debate. What I stated was factual and you were simply mad because someone didn't like a collectible as much as you. Most people can live with different opinions, but obviously it's a problem for you. Oh well. Edit 2 (0329 CST:) I see that you keep editing your post which is above mine instead of just responding in a linaer manner which is weird... reading all of that, it's clear that you have a very hard time reading and comprehending anything outside of very simplistic sentence structures with extremely clear meaning and no possibility of additional context which is fine as it's clearly a 2nd or third language for you. However, I think you should take the time to have someone explain what was actually meant in the posts that you initially responded to, because you not only read them completely wrong but began an argument that made no sense (and still doesn't) because of it. In the future, please ask for clarification if you aren't sure of something rather than "jumping off the handle." I don't know if you feel that what you're typing is legible or humorous, but the grammar and "jokes" presented would come off extremely uneducated and/or mentally-handicapped for a native English speaking person. And, I will continue to respond to you as you make posts towards me that call for it. Goodnight, budd. zankantouAs for your question: you can clearly see that there's no room for the shoulder pads on Kenryu and that's why the directions made it clear that they need to come off in the first place. I'm If you want to try it though; by all means. zankantou------------------------------------------------------ I'm going to repeat the question about Baikanfu again, but this time make it bold and whatnot to show more emphasis; Random, but is there any context to the alternate shoulder pieces included?

I'm going to bed. Please guys be nice to each other. This is a forum of joy (toys are about joy, right?) so no sense of attacking each other. I find it much better to just move on when there is a disagreement. Having the last say isn't always productive.
Good night guys.

I don't think there's enough room to put Kenryu in without taking the shoulder pads off. I won't try it since I don't want to scratch it.
On an interesting note, the sentinel was designed such that visually, there is barely any changes to Baikanfu whether it's empty inside or fully combined. So to me the combination is more for the fun factor, and does nothing to increase shelf presence. The SOC on the other hand, Baikanfu has see through upper arms when not combined, and looks a little too busy when combined (can't win!). Back to Sentinel, the major advantage with combination is the weight, so it doesn't feel so darn light weight on its own.
Sorry TJ, I don't know the significance of the alternate should pad for Baikanfu. I didn't even think about putting it on as the alternate shoulder pads takes away one of the major elements that makes Baikanfu look like the Baikanfu that I remember as a kid. Perhaps others can chime in.

I think it may just be a design choice. Last night I looked about and saw that "Vulcanlog" Revoltech Baikanfu which was designed by the Sentinel folks and it also has the angular-type pilders on the shoulders.
Speaking of the fill factor, you know what I wish they did? Took a note from ArtStorm's EX Gokin and had a "filler" piece for the Torso with something like lights, perhaps.
Disagree on the look of S.O.C. when combined; I quite like it, but just in general I wish the shoulders on their iteration were set higher. That'd add a ton to the general look of it.
Also, getting ready to start the gallery soon. Going back and forth between white and colored background. Completely torn.

I confirmed that the neck plate does tab in once the chest plate is pushed all the way in. The neck plate once tabbed would be locked and won't go up or down. One aspect that in my opinion sentinel did a far better job of than the SOC, is the clean design all around. On the SOC, the back of Kenryu and Baikanfu is full of exposed engineered joint parts. On the Sentinel, hardly any screws are exposed. The Sentinel Rom even has extendable shoulders and groin joints that can be retracted to hide unsightly gaps. To illustrate: Sentinel Kenryu and Rom are growing on me. Interesting finding on Kenryu: there is a joint between the ankle and the knee that swings backward almost 90 degrees. I was surprised to find it. I'm sure those who love posing toys will find a use for it. Edit: this turns out to be the knee joint of Bankaifu when combined. Another interesting fact: Sentinel Kenryu and Rom together weigh 80g (<15% total weight). SOC Kenryu and Rom together weigh 240g (30% total weight). SOC Baikanfu by itself is heavier than Sentinel Fully combined Baikanfu. Both Rom and Kenryu are about the same height between the two releases, but Sentinel Baikanfu is taller by almost an inch.

It's weird... I just went and checked my Baikanfu and the neck was already tabbed in just fine... maybe when I checked I just happened to not have the chest clamped correctly, but it' a-ok. Thanks for that. In terms of Rom/Ken; I don't display my pieces in a way that I see the back, so that parts not of much to me but what gets me is the articulation on Kenryu which Sentinel knocked out of the park. However, both Ken and Rom just plan look better to me design-wise on the SOC (Rom is more negligible where Kenryu isn't at all for me... it's the accurate head sculpt that just "wins" with me.) I can't wait to have some actual play time with it to really get some solid thoughts and get to shooting, but until then locidm I'm really enjoying your blurbs. I think you should consider bringing it all into one, full review as you're really giving good info.

Thanks TJ. I am barely able to find time writing blurbs so I'll leave it to actual toy reviewers to do the honor. I appreciate your comment though! Look forward to your pictures. I guess not too many people here are interested in this piece as it seems only three of us who bought it have posted anything at all. I am surprise given how so many has been supportive on Sentinel's other releases. I was checking toysdaily and it seems the reaction there is very mixed as well. Most complain about cracked paint under the finish and others on difficulty in combination.

Nice pose. Is that large seam on the inner thigh just a panel not fully tabbed in? Did you have to release it for posing? Or is it part of Sentinels typical sliding panels?

Nice pose. Is that large seam on the inner thigh just a panel not fully tabbed in? Did you have to release it for posing? Or is it part of Sentinels typical sliding panels? Begins to untab ad the leg is swung forward more. can be pressed back together but begins to separate again as there's no actual lock between the panels. When hollow, it holds fine.
