Right from Tamashii Nation's Twitter: It's REAL IT'S HAPPENING!!!! A combining Daizyujin with actual articulation and detail. I am so happy right now. Compare to the man on the background,I feel like Tyranosaurus himself is as big as SOC Combattler/Voltes. If so Dragon Caesar and King Brachion will be massive. The full set will be like Hammer + star GGG. T_T It will be great if they made this can combine with Golion Blue and Yellow Lions.

I know this may be asking for much without measuring tools and the like but can anyone either confirm or estimate the size of what this SoC will be as Daizyujin?

No, once you know what to look for these are clearly 3d printed prototypes that have been hand painted for demo purposes. Look at the picture of the Pteranodon's back. You can see some textured diagonal lines. Those are from 3d printing. You see it in a few other places. Plus the paint is kind of thick for production painting. And the cut of the lines looks like a skilled model painter. They lay the paint on thick for printed prototypes in order to mask or fill in some of the unwanted texturing from the printer, that they might have missed in sanding. It's a fast trick that saves time when preparing a demo model. (They are not going to be prepping it to museum quality with multiple passes sanding the plastic, using a filling primer, wet sanding, etc. They just prime it and lay the base lacquer down a bit thick and let it do the filling. Auto paint is good for that.)

I think either Ideon or Iron Gear is the largest in height. GaoGaiGar might be the largest in mass. Although Ideon still may beat it for weight. (Actually I lie Dancouga is technically the tallest, if the cannons are pointed vertically. But the body of the robot is smaller than the others listed.) Ideon is about 13". if you have ever seen the Toynami Masterpiece Voltron or the MM Vehicle Voltron Ideon is around that size.

I simply cannot imagine Daizyujin being THAT tall especially when compared to SoC Voltron.

Hmmm, ok didn't know he was quite that big thought he was 12" which is where I think this guy is going to be. Tyrannosaurus looks to be about 10" by himself and combined will probably just add and inch or two more.

Depending on how you have the arms. I think Vehicle Voltron is right at 13" and the Toynami Diecast is right at 12"

Well, at least I haven't managed to secure a legacy megazord yet...
However, other than the added articulation this one will bring, I thought the Legacy (the diecast version) was pretty good toy in itself.

It still was trapped by the restraints of reusing the old 2010 mold. It was a decent toy with the diecast but not the definitive toy Soul of Chogokin usually aims for.

Im really looking forward to seeing this toy in more detail. I need to see exactly how this monster will combine now that it's finally getting the modern engineering it deserves.
It was also trapped by having having the engineering of the original version.

never expected to see the day that finally bandai would add their sentai robots(power rangers) to this line. truly im having this stupid smile in my face seeing this.
this literaly there is no question in anyones mind that this is gonna be far more superior to that crappy legacy version. So looking forward to see there combine form a well when they do dragonzord and titanus.
i can finally retire the old mmpr versions.
