Exactly. Even on top of the added cost of a scrander, of course there's additional shipping to it as well. It's insanity that it's not packed in.

I think they got this latest shipment of Shin Getter 1s about a month ago, and the price has been level. I'm not sure what the first issue cost in the beginning, but I paid around $550 for my Black Shin 1 a year ago. So, I think the price for ZERO is fair. I hope the quality of build and materials is at least in the ballpark. We'll see.... As for a possible scrander; it could set the piece off - or it could be too big for my display. I'm undecided. the asking price for shin getter 1 repaint was $425 an extra $100 after 2 years is very very understandable, unlike some Ebay dr.hells who charge $1000 for it lol im happy with both of my EX Gokin Zeros i want this one yes but i have alot of other stuff to get

As nice as it was, I felt the 1969 was superior. But, ZERO is an awesome robot, and for me, the Heavy Metal version will convey it's awesome power.

Neat looking pieces. The only thing that seems a little off in the pics of them is those Red Plastic Chest pieces vs the Mazinger Zero's metalic red painted scrander. The chest pieces look a little flat and lifeless next to the rest of the robot and the scrander.

Anyone know what the real world size for Maz Zero?
Or even if you can fill in the missing for the following: Mazinger Z - 18m Great Mazinger - 20m Mazinkaiser - 23m Mazinkaiser SKL - ? Mazinger Zero - ? Mazin Emperor Z - ?

Anyone know what the real world size for Maz Zero? Or even if you can fill in the missing for the following: Mazinger Z - 18m Great Mazinger - 20m Mazinkaiser - 23m Mazinkaiser SKL - ? Mazinger Zero - ? Mazin Emperor Z - ? I made a G+ post about this a while back. It went a little bit something like this: "Let's talk about size, shall we? In the mazinger zero manga, base mazinger is said to be somewhere between 30 and 35 meters tall, but for now lets just lowball it to 30. If this were the case then how big is great mazinger? Well we could use the original proportions or the mazinkaiser proportions. In this case I think that the mazinkaiser proportions are more accurate to what could be seen in the manga. So basically, in mazinkaiser mazinger z is 18 meters tall while great mazinger is 20.5 meters tall. If this were the case then great mazinger would be around 34 meters tall when compared to the 30 meters mazinger (A high balled great mazinger using original proportions would be 48 meters tall compared to a 35 meters mazinger z). Anyways, we have the height of great mazinger, so just how huge would base mazinger zero be? (Of course we all know that true zero is an entity that goes beyond size and it's visible on an omniversal scale) Now, there isn't any kind proportions or comparison we can use for this, however, I think that a 45 meters zero wouldn't be a stretch. I'll leave an image with that proportion down below. I also think that a hypothetical mazinkaiser set in this continuity would be around this height. Now if this is true, I guess it's also not a stretch to say that great mazinkaiser would be somewhere between 50 and 55 meters tall, since he is a bit taller than zero. And mazin emperor g is quite a bit taller than great kaiser, so anywhere between 60 and 70 meters, which is insane for a mazinger. So so far this are the sizes: Lowballed: Mazinger z: 30 meters. Great mazinger: 34 meters. Mazinger zero/hypothetical mazinkaiser: 45 meters. Great mazinkaiser: 50-55 meters. Mazin emperor g: 60-70 meters. Highballed: Mazinger z: 35 meters. Great mazinger: 48 meters. Mazinger zero: 54 meters. Great mazinkaiser: 60-66 meters. Mazin emperor g: 72-84 meters." However, it's also worth mentioning that by mazinger zero vs ankouku daishogun, zero has absorbed multiple timeless and therefore grew bigger than the concept of size itself and even reality. It was visible in an omniversal scale.

I didn't realize that Mazinger Zero manga throws the decades old scale out the window and starts over. That's crazy.

Did you ever noticed the yellow piece from the scrander is already in place with Zero? That thing looks impressive and would consider spending some $$ in the figure. Not too much a fan of the zero design but it really is an impressive figure that will pop in the detolf 🤘🏻

The absence of alternative hands is a minus for me. I think I'll pass on him. Congratulation to whom ever gets it.

Very nice sculpt, better than the SRC. Not something I need though. But it is indeed impressive.

Size comparison to SRC. It's YUGE! Pic from a FB group I notice the Heavy Metal is missing the silver paint on the forearms and lower legs compared to SRC. The silver on the SRC helps separate the foot and hands from the limbs.
