Oh, I've gotcha. Even though I believe that the design borrowed from Sato for sure, it's different ENOUGH for me to consider it a separate design (even though I like the Fewture stuff much better.) That's why I can justify owning both at some point.
And yes, it is.

Funny that I bought my Fewture Mazinger Z (manga color repaint ver.) due to my anticipation of the Zero debuting in SRW V, but later bought the SRC Zero as a companion piece of SRC Great Mazinkaiser. When comparing Fewture Z & Zero, Fewture Z definitely has the upper hand on sculpt, clickies, and weight. But the design shows its age as Fewture Z only looks good in simple static poses. Put it in action pose and its shoulder proportion looking a little odd, as well as hard to balance. SRC Zero on the other hand is more posing friendly, but the body building physique is almost too bulky and not as manga accurate. Feel that if these two toys each has the advantages of the other, then it would be the perfect blend to my liking for an aggressive stylized Z. However, as of now, they are both good, but yet both flawed.

Hey All, I Just stared collecting SRC and Zero was my first, However,I am having trouble with the pilder placement as it barely clicks into place and by the slightest nudge it pops out flying. Any advise would be very helpful. One more question, is there and Thread that discuss the SRC releases because I can't see any. Thx

Thanks for the update My Friend, That was my coming question, I don't mind gluing it, however it won't damage the figure in anyway ?? As I used the Supper glue on Some Revoltech figures before. Thx again,

Try getting your hands on a glue called 'Plastic Magic' its super strong but doesn't continue to melt the plastic over time.

Probably been covered already but is this SRC prone to becoming a floppy mess like the older releases? Not too keen on spending 100+ on an SRC

If that is the case I really don't think so, as the Material is really above good quality, however, I am sure you can understand these figure as meant to show Highly dynamic poses, therefore I think too much tampering with them on the long run is not advisable, But I have to say these things are really worth getting if you are the Super Robot Fan. Thx,

Probably been covered already but is this SRC prone to becoming a floppy mess like the older releases? Not too keen on spending 100+ on an SRC Not initially, as the figure has some soft ratchets and usually come pretty snug unless you are unlucky (mine comes with one hip looser). But for areas that don't ratchet, like shoulders, hip and ankles, it will flop if you play/pose it a lot. The joints are less robust as SOCs.

Not too keen on spending 100+ on an SRC It's always a possibility but since this figure is fairly recent you won't really know for a while. Mine has been standing with the Zero Scrander on the back for a few months now and it's fine. I expect loose joints will only happen after a really long time of being played with or posing it. It's a really nice release.

Not too keen on spending 100+ on an SRC I'm curious which older releases became a floppy loose mess for you? Most of mine have been nice and tight for years. The only real exceptions are maybe Solar Aquarian who is a floppy loose mess, God Reideen who is just awful, and maybe Gunbuster?

Here are my loose list...they ALL suffer from loose hips due to friction joints gone bad.
SRC Mazinger's hip is pretty loose on mine...but still able to stand. SOC Eva (the red one) is so loose i have it sitting down. Aoshima shinseki Gokin Dark General is VERY loose...leaning against a wall. CMs Griffen is very very loose...im just about ready to chuck it. HMR Spartan is very loose but i oiled that one...(Hey, Bandai made the hips inhumanly tight!!)
