Have you thought about selling these to BBTS as a business? A third party SOC accessory developer! I have something very similar to that in mind but requires me to buy my own 3d printer to make it cost effective. I am working on several things now. Once I have enough merchandise, I will get the printer I'd be super interested if you ever decide to make a weapon for the Riobot Shin Getter. That default one it comes with is sooo plain.

So what were the fail rates of the breast plates? How many here on RJ has a problem vs how many did not? I am scared to order this figure because of this issue.

Hard to say. You could do a poll to see if you get a big enough sample size to judge. Just know that it will always be biased towards higher fail rate because it’s natural for people with broken toys to be more outspoken about it than those with a good piece. For the record mine came in fine.

Each photo in the video comes from a different customer and a different country + I met like 6 - 8 guys on Facebook who have the same issue! Dunno how many around the world but heard members of Chinese forums are angry about it. If I were you, I wouldn't buy this piece of crap, specially, that Bandai does not give a f**k to send replacement parts. Unless you are gonna use the pieces made by NinjaHandZ!

There’s a 100% chance I will make weapons for the Riobot Shin Getter at some point this year, cause the factory ones are the saddest thing I have seen. I just need to find out the size limitations of the printer I am buying cause I want that axe to be the size of a small puppy, the way God intended.

My god, the last Kaiser from that video looks like he had a rough fight with the dark general and lost it.... how come a figure can end up that bad ;(

It's just terrible design decision with the chest plates. May have to pay a bit more through a US retailer, that way at least I can get a replacement from Bluefin if it's damaged.

The plates you have created are on its way to me and can’t wait to see what can I do with them ( might leave it clear) love the looks and just put clear gloss or something like those lines... Will be better than the damn broken piece that’s for sure . Ninja can’t thank you enough for your efforts man ...

The fire blasters replacement parts by ninjahandz are PERFECT! The metal pins will surly secure an unbreakable attachment to Kaiser's chest, wish Bandai did that –sigh!I however did something, which could be silly... I couldn't ignore how awesome the original fire blaster factory paint is... so, I decided to use epoxy and permanently put 'em on Kaiser's chest. Again, go get ninjahandz's parts if you wish to have moveable and secured fire blasters...just good luck with finding a suitable glossy red paint! Mine was OK but as I said, I couldn't resist Bandai's factory paint elegance. Still looking for a day to use the plates I have from ninja. But I will buy the metal pins and made something in his chest to grab the pins. I was contemplating to replicate the idea of rubber pieces like gx01to hold the breast plates. Because of the odd ball joint cavity there did you secure the plates for good with epoxy? Do they move or they are fix? Months ago, I had to open up his upper torso cuz one of those weirdo balls got a bit flattened and I wanted to fix it. When I used epoxy, one fire blaster had a pin and another didn't... However, I am extremely satisfied how they don't move! The epoxy holds both fire blasters awesomely on his chest, and, I didn't even put back the 2 silly balls inside his chest! I added later some few drops of superglue around to enhance the fixation.

Great to hear it went well and you have a fully functional robot now lol I was very tempted to use the replacement but I manage to get the old piece of pin out and I will be able to use the metal pin in the original fireplate. Thanks for the update and very happy it work well for you! Let’s hope others follow and use ninja hands . By the way kudos to the man for all he did

While everybody here probably bought Aoshima Mazinkaiser SG, then, SOC GX-75 I did it the opposite way! Just ordered SG-14 OAV col. from the official Aoshima distributor in Italy www.ebay.com/usr/megatradershopI think he'll look awesome next to CM's Brave Gokin Grendizer.

Get it from a US seller so you have Bluefin for customer support. That's what I did for insurance. My unit didn't have the problem.

That shapeway's chest piece looks pretty good. I would probably paint the back silver and then the whole thing in translucent red so you can still see the details but not all the way through it.
