Finland. Also I don't think they've ever actually opened any of my parcels - I guess they just blast them with xrays instead or whatever they use at airports to check luggage. thanks for sharing we also have these x rays machines, but some time they must check it by hand when they suspect something is wrong (that require you to be there) by the law Can't say I've ever encountered that. Not even when I bought the reissue G1 Megatron which comes in gun mode. alright i played a little with my gx-13, and i got a few questions 1-when i used the extra more accurate head (face) the neck is just so long, im i not pushing it right ? please explain in details 2-there is parts on the thighs and on the mid section that can be pushed inside , what they are for ? 3-is there any safe way to pull the gun on his back because mine is very tight ? 4-how far the whole legs can move i try to move mine a bit but they are making sound so i dont want to break anything bonus question are we sure Dancouga is a super robot ? because it will go nicely with the transformers thanks in advance guys #2 is probably just for the beast mode, the thighs collapse when slid into the lower legs. #3 is tight on mine too and it terrifies me. Hell, even the small double-barreled guns on the sides of the big gun are stupidly tight. For what it's worth tho, apart from the gun itself, it seems the entire arm is metal so you just need to manipulate each joint separately. I know Bismarck is usually considered the "last" super robot series, and it's probably meant as a "true" super robot series because Dancouga falls into that weird middle ground where you have the whole otherwise technically "real" aspect of the main characters being military personnel rather than just some kids who fell into the cockpit, and the mechs being built by the army, but at the same time, you also have alien invasion and a variety of more fantastical aspects you'd find from a super robot show.

i think my unit have a loose left arm, also im having a hard time to make it stand perfectly straight, im sure the secret is in the legs but im not brave enough to force them lol but even with this im glad i got it it looks good and pop up next to other gokins Can't say I've ever encountered that. Yes! The neck is like that...i know it looks and feel weird that afterwards..youll feel that it looks fine. thanks TJ its just looks wrong like a giraffe neck lol So I received this today. Is there a good video showing how to transform this thing? its an easy thing to do, just follow the instruction in the book

I just don't think we have any particular laws against toy guns, and that includes pellet and bb guns. You don't even need an orange tip for those.

this is an interesting subject to talk about, i guess we should have a thread to talk about different rules and regulations of the customs and the postal service in general
just for fun

ok this is by far the worst SOC i own, it remind me why i dont collect transformers its just sooo annoying to transform it into the robots mode the animals mode and the tanks mode
not to mention the joints are super tight
dont get me wrong i like the the combine robot, but thats the only thing i like about it
my advice, straight out of the box combine it to Dancouga and forget about it, dont even think to check the other modes

I hate this thing. It is not fun at all. I still can't figure it out. I would not recommend this to anyone other than die hard fans of Dancouga.

Weird, I haven't even combined mine yet, I've only transformed the individual bots between their modes and I can't say I have any major complaints about those. The only real grievance I have with mine is that Eagle Fighter's other wing is super floppy.
If anything, my only problem with the transformation is that it's not particularly interesting and/or complicated, and that's pretty much inherent to the design. I mean, Big Moth pretty much just gets on all fours to become an elephant, and touches his toes to become a tank.

i tried every mode, and i honestly didn't like it, it requires ton of force just to find the sweet spot and click stuff, i will keep mine in the combined mode and forget about it
i didnt even bother to pull the mammoth toes because it looked like it was glued inside the foot

Would I be better off canceling my order for GX-13R or is he still something you would buy even knowing what you know now?

i didnt even bother to pull the mammoth toes because it looked like it was glued inside the foot Mine was tight too, but I didn't let that stop me. What did stop me was that I'd just cut my fingernails so I had trouble prying them out, lol I did have to use a screwdriver to flip out the toes on the arms tho. Again, they weren't that tight, I just had serious trouble getting a good grip on them. To be honest, I have trouble seeing what your problems with this toy are!

Nothing seemed overly tight on mine and the transformations were a breeze for all units. Even the cannon on the back of Moth wasn't too bad - tight for sure, but I had not trouble pulling it out and no worries that anything was going to break. Each human has different sensory thresholds though, and different muscle responses based on what our bodies are used to. What feels scary tight to one person may not to another. Sort of like how someone lifting a 50 pound box may strain a little to lift it while another person may lift it without really thinking about it.
While I do really like my SOC Dancouga, I still believe someone can make a much better toy than this one OR the Sentinel Dancouga. I'd really like to see what Takara could do with Dancouga. I'd be curious to see how Fewture/Action Toys would do one also. Their SD Dancouga is pretty good I think.

Hey S_Gokin, your honest opinion please. Would I be better off canceling my order for GX-13R or is he still something you would buy even knowing what you know now? i have mix emotions about it honestly, but to answer you yes i will still get it even with these problems, i will keep it combined tho and never try other modes again but, if you have alot of preorders and you want to save some cash i would say skip it Mine was tight too, but I didn't let that stop me. What did stop me was that I'd just cut my fingernails so I had trouble prying them out, lol I did have to use a screwdriver to flip out the toes on the arms tho. Again, they weren't that tight, I just had serious trouble getting a good grip on them. To be honest, I have trouble seeing what your problems with this toy are! well since you mention it i also cut my fingernail the type of cut that come under the nail lol my problems with the figure is its not a solid figure when you play with the robots individually, also when you try to transform them into other modes its not a smooth process as other SOCs however when combined its little better Nothing seemed overly tight on mine and the transformations were a breeze for all units. Even the cannon on the back of Moth wasn't too bad - tight for sure, but I had not trouble pulling it out and no worries that anything was going to break. Each human has different sensory thresholds though, and different muscle responses based on what our bodies are used to. What feels scary tight to one person may not to another. Their SD Dancouga is pretty good I think. nice point but the members who got it agreed the joints are very tight i know some figures joints are very tight right of the box but after you wake the joint it became smooth and move freely example the GX-72, however the GX-13R joint are tight even after you wake it up lol at the end maybe my unit is crazy tight also its an R version it should be way better than this, i feel the R in here stand for Repaint last thing it really remind me of Toynami Voltron specially the legs

Especially since it is not in the best place at the moment, financially.
