I'm in need of a Godaikin Voltes V instruction manual booklet from 1982. I figure this is a long shot finding one but decided I would try anyway.
A high quality reproduction would be acceptable too. Thank you.

So a weird twist happened in my quest to acquire the Voltes V instruction manual. I had contacted Kim Castro and he dishonestly tried to sell me a repro manual for a ridiculous sum of money. I wouldn't have known it was a repro, but the reason I did was I bought the same exact quality repro from eBay like over ten years ago. (I had since lost it but do remember the paper and image quality and immediately recognized it from his photo.) After calling him out on it, he did admit to me it was a repro. I'm never doing business with Kim Castro again. The last couple of days, I got a fever and flu. My mind is all over the place when I have a fever, and for some odd reason, I thought to myself, " Hey, check underneath the styrofoam of your Voltes V box. Maybe the original owner somehow misplaced the instruction booklet there." A few days went by, even though I had this on my mind, but I didn't think it was a serious thought. So the other day, when I had some reserved strength from my flu, I decided to lift the styrofoam up and to my surprise, the instruction booklet was there!! Completely high quality paper, sharp image, and the complete opposite of that shady repro instruction booklet that Kim Castro was trying to con me for several hundred dollars on ($250 to be exact).

Great that you found it! I was about to ask if you wanted hi-res pics of my keeper one (I don't have a scanner) until I got to the parts bin. You have saved a lot of money by finding it though.

It would be cool to have a nice scan of the booklet to share. I thought I scanned my Combattler booklet a few years ago, but having a hard time finding where I stuck the file. It's somewhere, just finding that somewhere :-)

Before I found my Voltes manual underneath my styrofoam, I ended up buying a repro manual (pictured on the right) from an eBay seller in Italy, which just arrived the other day in the mail. (Took a long time to arrive.) The quality was a lot better than the one I purchased on eBay circa 2007 (the same one that Kim Castro was trying to rip me off on for $250.00). On this Italian seller's repro manual, the paper is not glossy and you can definitely tell it was laser printed. The silver inks on the "Voltes V" font is not metallic either. But in general, the picture quality is still really good for what it is. I only paid $20 + shipping for it so it was a good deal. I really lucked out because I have no idea how I would have obtained an authentic Voltes manual, since really nobody wants to sell it separately. I'm so grateful I found it where I did.
