Judging from the review, I have got to say; this is one BEAUTIFUL piece.
Transformation looks rather complicated (given that this is somewhat lion Voltron type combiner), but given the look of the fully transformed modes, I'm not complaining. The original vintage toy had all the wheels as separate pieces (and the cartoon being more ridiculous), I like how they now managed to incorporate them into the transformation.
If this is indicative of the quality of Pose+ engineering, I really look forward to more of their products.

Baxinger should be here Thursday. Probably one of the pieces I'm most excited for this year. Almost wishing I'd gotten Lightan now but this will be a good intro to the line.

Had a feeling this would be one of the hidden gems of the year... saw the earlier interview by the HKTOY guys and the lead toy designer for this gokin, during the interview he was asked why did POSE+ decide to tackle this guy. His response, this gokin was selected out of love, and like much of the old school popy toy collectors from HK he promised this will have the right heft and feel that fans should be looking for along with all the wheels being fully integrated unlike the original popy of old. How toy engineering/manufacturing has indeed come along over the years One note, the original Baxingar toys were from Takatoku, not Popy. Sad I missed the preorder on this piece. I think finding it now will be even more expensive. Given the size of the bikes it splits into, would have been incredible if they’d included figures of the riders in all their early 1980s fashion glory, even if they were fixed posed.

So far Baxinger is looking like a real winner. Good to see those hip connectors are metal. So far I'm liking the designer's intent with the POSE+ line to be true modernization of classic super robot designs with as little compromise to aesthetic and articulation.

It seems like so many companies either choose advanced engineering or classic aesthetic where this stuff really nails it all.

It's a neat looking Robot. A little pricey to take a massive gamble sight unseen on a new vendor (which is King of the downfall of this hobby. Remember when you could take fun risks on CMs or Yamato oddballs and not have to dump a car payment into them?)

i just watch Wotafa review
wow, all i can say is now Artstrom are on the same level as Bandai, for me there are equally on the first spot
ratchet clicky joints all over and the figure is solid as a rock, the paint looks nice and sharp and the over all quality is great
all this waiting and delays was worth it
cant wait for Goshogun

Baxinger is in hand. Not even having opened the box this thing is freaking heavy.

Alright... so realistically Action Toys has been kicking Bandai's butt in the diecast robbit market department for years. Not in the selling sense because Bansai has so many licenses and such a high production rate on top of being established for decades that that aspect would be impossible to top. However when it comes to making big, diecast laden bots with advanced articulation while retaining proper aesthetic homaging to the source; ArtStorm and its subsidiary brands have absolutely ruled for some time now, and Baxinger is no acception. This thing craps on most SoC combiners outside of Golion in the sense of having the transformation and combination gimmick while not sacrificing a thing in terms of look or articulation and when it comes to materials it's like a brick heft wise and the paint is just magnificent. I cannot wait to review this.

Sounds awesome. I have a feeling I might actually like this better than GX-88. SOC Dairugger is pretty, impressive, and not over-complicated for what it is. But it doesn't have the rock solid sturdiness and confidence when handling it, with some joint connections wobble a bit and some ratchets a bit too soft. I missed that solid feel in it, and sounds like Baxinger delivers in that department in spade. Those loud clicks in almost all the joints sounds soooo good. Really looking forward to it.
