I'm really confused by the licensing. Didn't those SRW games from Banpresto (owned by Bandai Namco) have characters like Goshogun, Baxinger, those from the Brave series etc? Why doesn't Bandai make those into the Soc line? Because there are no tooling costs for those and the licensing costs are likely fairly low. They add more value by having them then they cost. Just a few hours for the games graphics designers. Whereas the costs to engineer a SOC are higher and it probably carries a higher licensing cost. I wish CMS finished Blocker IV. I love their Boss Palder I was hoping for the set. I was also hoping Marusan would get the mold and finish the line.

Baxinger looks great. Quite interested. Baxinger is one of the few old school robot anime I never got the chance to watch, but always remember the toys and model kits when I was little. This may be the sample that fits right in in my collection. Only the shape of the eyes are slightly odd. Everything else looks great at first glance.

The combined mode looks super cool, but he it looks like he'll be a bit of a parts-former to get there.

The combined mode looks super cool, but he it looks like he'll be a bit of a parts-former to get there. The original toy was a parts-former to begin with; the wheels were all add-ons and the combined form needed a ugly large separate thighs-hip-torso piece. I really hope Pose+ does it better, hoping they did away with that large aforementioned piece. (anyone can see where the thigh pieces go to from the pics?) One thing I like to bring up though, those toys of old all had plenty of spring loaded shooting parts which I really liked; I guess it's not done these due to child safety issues, but aren't these gokins mostly for adult collectors?

The original toy was a parts-former to begin with; the wheels were all add-ons and the combined form needed a ugly large separate thighs-hip-torso piece. On closer look, the thighs seem to fold into the calves. The main cycle also looks bulky enough to house the pelvic joints. Looking really good! So I'm guessing only the wheels require swapping in.

How many will get 1? How many will get 2 for the 2 modes? Baxinger retailing at 1890HKD, 1 will do.
