I wonder why non-Japanese say it's a trilogy when it clearly includes 4 shows. well if you google the robot romance trilogy you will have Combattler V, Voltes V, and Daimos only Daltanious is not even mentioned en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robot_Romance_Trilogyalso some characters from Combattler V appeared in both Voltes V and Daimos as a cameo, while non appeared in Daltanious as far as i know

Tadao Nagahama influenced Daltanious artistry and direction to resembles those of the trilogy

Nagahama Roman Robo Series sounds so much better than Robot "Romance" Trilogy.

Tadao Nagahama influenced Daltanious artistry and direction to resembles those of the trilogy this is kinda of a grey area for me, because in Daltanious page top right you will see they say it was directed by Katsutoshi Sasaki and no mention for Tadao Nagahama however if you scroll down you will see Tadao Nagahama was a director in the protection section that's Japanese man i cant read that lol joking aside i let google translate the page (it wasnt %100 accurate) but you were right Daltanious is indeed part of the trilogy but still there is some fog around it first, why Bandai didn't include Daltanious in the FA line even tho the SOC version was popular that it got reissued couple of times second, characters from Combattler V appeared in both Voltes V and Daimos as a cameo, while non appeared in Daltanious as far as i know those two points actually isolate Daltanious from the trilogy, also the fact that sunrise studio was out of the picture in production help isolating Daltanious even more

Nagahama didn't direct Daltanious but he had a lot of input on that show. Toei considers Daltanious to be a Nagahama work.
The main rivals in all four shows (Garuda, Heinel, Richter, and Kroppen) were voiced by the same guy, Osamu Ichikawa. Incidentally, he also voiced Charkin from Yuusha Reideen, which is considered the forerunner of the Nagahama Roman Robo Series.

i hope they complete the robot romance trilogy trio no matter what I wonder why non-Japanese say it's a trilogy when it clearly includes 4 shows. What's with the girls to the right? Are they the love interests for the pilots of the robots or something?

Based on Bandai's release plan starting with Voltes V and this new schedule release date for Daitarn 3 & Daimos, third wave will be Zambot 3 and Combattler V being the last one... damn.
Smart move Bandai smart move.
