at 10:32 of the toystv clip, you see the only flaw I see in the engineering. Anyone that actually has this unit want to confirm?

Something like this is meant to be posed in a thoughtful manner. Probably didn’t lock the ankles first. I think it’s incredibly balanced but I’m not gonna jerk the joints all Over the place like these guys always do. Watching their material triggers what almost nonexistent OCD I have 😂😂

the figure is sold as a rock (DX SOC level) the guy just didn't pose it right that's why it felt
to help you get the picture its not like Toynami diecast Voltron, it hold it poses very well which is impressive judging on its weight and height
i highly recommend getting it if you can
Ask Terad about it 🥺 no response until now
ooooooh so you are the one he told me about lol such a small world man
first im sorry for your bad experience with them, im dealing with AE since 2014 with no problems just a tiny issue with Fewture Juohmaru and Paypal got my back in it
tho at the moment AE is not even half as good as it used to be, but still i use it for TWE items
all i recommend is you dont have to wait. waiting is bad for you, as soon as you feel something wrong email paypal this is my in general advice not an exclusive to AE or any other place

so i just finished my photoshot for this awesome figure (i finally found the right batteries for it) they were kinda expensive too around $13 for 2
the figure is magnificent goes with the DX SOCs very well its also taller than all of the DXs
the paint is awesome, it change shades depending on where the light hit
the attention to details in the small Shotaro figure is amazing even tho its small it have alot of details on ot
the only two things i didnt like
the led button on my unit need to be pressed right, half a press or tiny press wont work until you hear a click
the nails covers felt couple of time but not annoyingly tho
i did compared it with the GX-44S and even tho its smaller and its an old release i was surprised to see it hold it ground very well vs the heavy metal version so i cant say for sure which figure is the ultimate Tetsujin 28 figure
i highly recommend this figure even if you are not a fan its just on a level of its own, i even start to think what if they did the Black Ox just close your eyes and imagine it lol
lastly i want to thank Action Toys for this masterpiece and they have earned my respect and my money for their future products

GX-44S was great. Haha. No disrespect at all, but it is not even close. And being that they are practically the same price point right now, this IS the ultimate Tetsujin 28 figure by far. 4 words, boys. TOY OF THE YEAR.

I finally busted this guy out over the weekend and it's exactly what I expected - complete excelance... with a few bonuses. I snapped some pix to commemorate the event. Let's talk shelf presence - something this gorgeous... this lustrous... this MASSIVE! stands out. It's solid . I'd like to say it feels good in hand, but I can't. I've got to say good in "hands" because that's what it takes to experience this behemoth. The ratchets are industrial level - toppling and flopping are not options. The articulated hands speak to overall quality - perfect. The opening chest is a thoughtful gimmick. I love the optional solid yellow eyes for when you're not lighting things up. A rich hue is a great alternative to the opacity of powered down lights. And Shotaro is one more bonus.... I started out collecting vintage. Of course not having the Grail is a glaring hole in my collection. But I'm not yet on the level where I can drop $6K on a glistening, new SG-01. I will get there. And when I do, this baby will glisten right next to it.

non taken my friend
thing is and for me when i took photos for both figures next to each other i didnt get a clear winner, the GX-44S is an 11 years old figure but it didnt feels that way when i was handling it or posing it next to the HM version not to mention the GX-44S have better articulation (articulation for me is important)
i got the GX-44S around the original MSRP i know now its even more than the HM version so the logical choice is go for the HM version but if you already have the GX-44S and didn't pay the current asking price, you will understand my point better
hopefully when i get done with the photos i will share some of them with you guys, at the end they are both awesome figure to have and im really happy to have them in my collection

Of course I decide not to order this one while it was easily available everywhere, it comes out, is everyone’s favorite, and it’s double the price. Meanwhile I can’t get 70% of retail for the recent SoCs not named Voltron lol. Glad everyone is enjoying him tho!

I end up with one after all had it on pre-order and totally forgot about it... (old age is starting to affect my memory...) but yes this thing is a beast and while not as articulate as the beloved gx-44, it holds itself very well when you consider the size and heft of the overall figure. robotjapan.proboards.com/post/new/25132
