Not a good angle on the ship, but it is the second or Mark II Nautilus from Nadia Secret of Blue Water. It's basically a whole love letter to Jules Verne by Evangelion's Hidieki Anno (sp?). The Mark I was the sub version and is actually in my opinion the better less cluttered design. This one flies and has wings. For that type of SF anime ship/spaceship its decent. Fits in well with the Yamato, Arcadia and Andromeda.

i watched the live show, it was fun the Nautilus was cooler than i thought and the base is awesome btw guys i remember there was a movie called the league of extraordinary gentlemen there was a ship called the nautilus as well and the Captain name was Nemo as well, is there any relation between the two ? OFF TOPIC they also showed couple of clips from the upcoming Super robot wars x game thats Mazinkaiser with Great Emperor G, and they were fighting against Mazinger Zero i remember that Ive read somewhere that Great Emperor G is in the same level of Mazinkaiser, they are equal, but are they powerful enough to take down Zero Nautilus is a commonly used name por ships/submarines. It's a classic since julio Verne used it to name the submarine in 20000 leagues under the sea (a science fiction classic) Nadia, the secret of Blue Water is a multi season homage to pretty much all of Jules Vernes major novels. 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. Mysterious Island. Master of the World. etc. And is also in some ways almost a prequel to Neon Genesis Evangelion. The Nautilus in the show is the "Jules Verne" Nautilus (just not he Disney one). This is the second Nautilus. Built after the first was sunk during the events of what would roughly correspond to Mysterious Island.

Just got GunBuster last week, so this is some fortuitous timing. It'll be nice to have this go alongside it. Then the Metal Build Eva 1... just need Gurren Lagann and Kanti to round out the iconic Gainax bots.

but why the price is 2400 Yen more than the MSRP ? I think it's due to it being a tamashii web exclusive. They always charge more for exclusives... and always it's pay up front...

Video walkthrough is up over at youtube.
Looks like they dropped the IR remote control concepts and went with push buttons. I like it.

This one is tough. On one hand, its a cool ship. But it didn't leave me a lot of impression after watching the series years ago. Since its an exclusive, I have to make up my mind very soon before the PO close. The high price and NY shipping is not helping either.

If I were wealthy, I'd snap one up. But as things are . . . *pulls at empty pocket-linings* . . . nope. On the other hand, if they ever made an SOC of the Exelion from Gunbuster . . . I dunno. I guess I'd sell a kidney or somethin.'

Interesting the official video actually addressing Nu-Nautilus as Exelion (class?) at the 2:00 mark. I suppose they reused that term on both shows for the ships (Anno ran out of ideas ). Just that its been so long, I don't remember any of this naming from the anime series. In fact, I don't remember most of the show and how the story flows, just bits and pieces of it.

I like NY for sure. Never had a problem, and they carry pretty much all Bandai exclusives. Only catch is, the past year or so, they bumped up the shipping cost significantly, so while their discount on regular items are very good, you get bite back on their high shipping. What used to cost 2000-3000yen to ship, now is like 5000yen standard or higher.
