Can’t say I’m a fan of the fat sculpt. I understand sacrifice has to be made to make it transform but man the proportion appears to be way off. Thanks for link!
ikr lol, looks like a refrigerator with arms and legs
just look
notice how the tiny arms goes all the way down to the upper legs ?!
preorder links
funny how its costs more than the heavy metal T28 lol
best Albegas ever made in my opinion is the EM Gokin hands down

Already made the PO. Love arbegas and this one have the right size. Like the redesign (although is a bit extreme) they did in the EM gokin but an arbegas that don't combine it's half of the package. Arbegas is pretty blocky and there aren't many ways to handle the combination and avoid the blocky look. I have the dynamite action one and is very fun, just to small to look well with other combiners. This may be my definitive arbegas (until the do a SOC at least).

i love the size... would scale well and look just fine side by side with SOC Voltron.. but the price is too much.

If it’s made entirely out of ABS then it’s not a Chogokin is it? And the proportions are just... no, no sorry but it’s just ugly. Am normally neutral when it come to figures but somehow this one make me hate it. Listed materials are ABS, diecast, PVC

If you mean by dicast the screws and joints that holding the figure the yes it has dicast in it. Have you seen their mazinger and getter 1? They have the audacity to call it dicast figures when it only count for less than 7% in it. It’s clearly overpriced.

I've never ordered from Anime Export. How are they? Any problems?
I'm interested as they have the lowest price compared to HLJ or Amiami. But with EMS shipping, will they charge a little bit more, so it's basically the same price as ordering from HLJ or Amiami? Or is it safe to say if I order from Anime Export, the EMS shipping should be the same price as with HLJ or Amiami?

If you don’t mind pay now preorder and somewhat questionable support then sure go for it. I have ordered from them before but they slow in answering emails. That and shipping fee are horrendous.

Or is it safe to say if I order from Anime Export, the EMS shipping should be the same price as with HLJ or Amiami? I've bought from AE for almost 10 years. Never a problem with pre-orders. Also, if something comes up and you need to contact them, do so via their website site, they should respond within 24 hours on business days. They may or may not reply if you email them. I recently ran into an issue where I mistakenly provided them my old address for shipping, the item of course got returned to sender. AE was quick to respond to my messages on their website and shipped back my items quickly. If it is an item defect, AE, like all other japanese retailers (except HLJ), won't be able to help you much. On shipping rates, the few times I've received large shipments and paid attention, although shipping is higher than HLJ, the actual postage on the shipment as shown on the shipping slip is usually the same or even slightly higher than the shipping I paid, so it's not like they're ripping you off on shipping rates (ripping customers off shipping rates is something NY routinely does). I think HLJ has some sort of shipping discounts with their shipping partners.

This Albegas is going to look great displayed next to GX-71 Golion and MA-01 Miracle Works Dairugger.

I actually have more issue with the proportion of this than the combined form. It doesn't look too bad combined from a straight front angle. Though they took most demo photos at a 3/4 view, that really look like a fridge. There could have been a lot done to improve this, just based on experience with intricate TFs and combiners that shifts volumes to get the proportion they need.

Individual robots look horrible proportion wise. No attempt was made to make the proportions look acceptable. I also agree with you that when combined it looks ok from the front. But man it seems like a lot of dough for a front view only bot (ok front view times three).

to be honest even the early ET version looks better than this for the price they asked it should comes with ton of swapping parts actually its the other way around. he looked that way coz they didnt go to the simple parts swap route. it seems they made it into a full transformer with just hands swapping.. which made it more expensive.

Actually if u compare the after market price of the previous smaller old ET Albegas models... the price does not differ that much. I would just add around 50-75 bucks.. i can now have a much bigger, much improved, worthy SOC GX-71 scaled Albegas the i can properly display to complete the Voltron trio.

I've been on the fence over this for some time. It's nice to see all that diecast. If it was beautifully polished (like EX Mazinger 1969 repaint) it would push me over the edge. But, it's not quite there.

Im also at the same situation a month ago... but eventually gave-in after seeing an offer for a much lower price. main reason what made me pull the trigger is its fitting scale with both Voltron figures. and if Bandai comes up with its own Albegas figure.. i could use it as an alternate mode. Also thought of some Evolution Toys aftermarket prices going up after release.. but its a case to case basis depending on the figure. its ET why im not expecting too much...but i will be satisfied even its turns out just a decent figure. (i hope)

Its finally coming. There seems to be some diecast content (more than I expected). I'm really excited about this one. I hope it turns out great. I will bite the bullet with this one. Its albegas and it is in the right scale
