I hope there’s some significant change instead of plain reissue. Most of these SoC are not that hard to find(exception of Voltron) and you can find original at times $300 or less. Saw one for $269 recently. Seems these -R don’t really do well here in the US. I still see bbts has Daltainous, Baikanfu and Dancouga.
These reissues remind me of Hasbro. I guess I’m one of those collectors that don’t like straight repaint or reissues that goes for any toy line.

Ah! That thing is the stuff of nightmares. Also meh. I have one of the Metal Digivolving line. the 01 Warsomethingorothermon. Very disapointed in it. It felt more like a Hasbro Transformer with a little die cast. It would have taken you less time to type out Wargreymon.

All I can say it is missing are the knunchaku weapons and the wings of the Black Lion having a Y-shape either molded onto the back or via an extra piece. Honestly,it would not obstruct much if the spine section was molded onto the Black Lion already.

a reminder
the GX-60 was released back in 2011 and the MSRP was about 24,150 Yen
now we need now when they will open the preorder and how much they will ask for it ?
i honestly dont care much about what did they improve, since the original one was a decent figure but with limited articulation

Yeah add slight adjustment to inflation prices and don’t forget rising cost of shipping. The Baikanfu-R was not worth buying at all. I can’t even resale mine at least close to what I paid for.
If hip and leg and articulation is improved I would buy this again. But just couple paint modifications and changing of belt won’t get me to buy this.
I notice for majority of these SoC especially -R if you wait until the hype and rush is gone you can get them even cheaper. I didn’t even want Gipsy in beginning but seeing them $200 shipped on eBay got me to buy it.

Really lazy release if thats all Bandai did on this R....
Im sure Bandai is crapping bricks "having to" position this lazy ass release ( i also dont see this selling too well) over re-releasing Voltron ( which will sell very briskly)...

Yeah. I think I would much rather have a Renewal of a much older and rarer SoC such as Ideon or the like.
Like with Ideon the ratchets could be updated into diecast ratchets or have the treads be made with better material or be plastic.
Maybe even lower the diecast content a bit to have better weight distribution I don't know.

I’m going to use this $300 shipped money to go buy my storage shed at Costco right now. 😂

I have to put mine on bottom corner shelf

For what it’s worth, I’m a relatively new collector that’s gotten quite a few SOC’s recently, and I’ve been eyeing Godsigma, so quite happy there might be a re-release. I know it’s “same old” but in Japan’s that toy goes for around 40,000 yen new right now - hoping that the reissue saves me a little money. With luck, these reissues get collectors like me into it more and help fuel new toys for everyone.

Someone over on the TFW2000 boards recognized the difference with the belt. The new GX-60R will seeming be Godaiken Colors. That belt buckle is the Godaiken G symbol.

I got mine from another collector for $200 shipped last year. It’s good piece but yeah flaw is bad but I live with it. Some people had issues with shoulders.

Everyone WILL eventually have a problem with Ideon’s shoulders. Even if unopened in a sealed box. The problem is a metal pin going through a too small plastic hinge point. Just a loop of plastic, like a bushing. The loop will eventually split from the stress. The impact on the robot is it can no longer hold it’s arms/shoulders outwards. It’s a major design flaw, but one that should be an easy fix for a re-issue.
Please remind me, because I have the box and accessories in storage, did GodSigma always have a weapons and accesories stand? It also looks like this one has 2 optional belts. Anime accurate and Godaikin.
