Oh no, they changed the chest! That was one of my favourite design aspects in the original! What changed? The old version had this diamond pattern under the red plastic to give it a nice retro look. The new one just has some boring vents instead. I know it's probably more accurate (the old toy just had a sticker I think, and the cartoon it was just solid red) but I liked the old one from an aesthetic viewpoint.

Will This be a USA release too? What do you think pricing in US will be? It's around $300 But you can joint their premiums membership for $15 and they will credit you instantly $10 to use on this order, and you will also get back $45 TOM points to use on future orders with them. otakumode.com/shop/5ae48fa65c9ea3075a2fd093?ivc=5f4bff

I read somewhere that the head sculpt had also changed? I haven’t done the comparison can someone confirm?

I read somewhere that the head sculpt had also changed? I haven’t done the comparison can someone confirm? I don't think so. Other than the differences we know so far I think the colors also are slightly different than the GX-60.

Confirmation of new head. The blue visor is more prominent and not as recessed as the original. GX-60R: GX-60:

Thank you. The difference seems small but perhaps more pronounced when seen in person. Still not enough for me to buy it again.

I fought off the temptation to buy one by ordering a SRC God Sigma instead. Hopefully it doesn't break five seconds out of the box like my last two SRC figures.

I love my SRC God Sigma.
Knowing that you will be getting a tiny tiny SRC will help deter most of the disappointment i think.

Never had that happen! J-Decker both times. The first one had a front hip skirt piece break off when I lifted a leg. Sent it back to Amazon for another and the replacement figure had BOTH front hip skirt pieces break off when I was gently testing them to see if they would move or if they were stuck. Neither time was I man-handling the figures, the skirt pieces broke off like they were made of butter. Really a bummer since it's an amazing figure otherwise. I'd love to have one in my collection but I didn't want to try my luck on a third.

Do you feel the Bandai vibe about having a SOC collection x2 ? Glad I stopped being "stupid" (no offense guys) collecting double and triple. I resale mostly all (got still some in double)... Hey but wait... I am restarting this nightmare again !!! ... Yes but it's like a double rainbow now ... (do you keep all boxes ? do like having an extra room to stack your hidden toys ? -> stay tuned for the next episode "I am wasting money in plastic") Sorry I just make laugh about myself But are you dreamming about brown shipping boxes ?

Yeah my J-Decker panel also broke easily too. Common problem with that SRC.
Anyways looks like bbts GX-60R is up for sale but wants down payment now on their chogokin super robots. Probably got tired of people bailing out on preorders. I remember Baikanfu and Dancouga preorders were sold out then got closer to release date lot of cancellations and still available.

BBTS implemented that down payment policy on higher priced items a while back. I understand it, but it sucks and I never preorder expensive items there anymore. With so much stuff coming out all the time, release dates getting pushed back and moved forward, I am never willing to fully commit to any big purchase in advance so it's nice to be able to bail if I need to. I remember a few years back I had about five things with release dates spread over half a year that all got delayed and ended up being available all in the same month. On top of that half the money I had budgeted had to go for car repairs and other unexpected stuff right around that same time, so I had to cancel most of the items.
While that's an extreme case, it has made me hyperaware of committing to things in advance. And then there are cases where you might be really hot for something and then when release day comes you realize that, for whatever reason, you just aren't that into it anymore.
Anyway, back to Sigma. I think I like the original reflective-style chest piece better but I do prefer the overall brighter colors on the new one. Still haven't fully decided whether to get one or not.
