If they offer this less die cast but with super poseable goodness then they as well treat this as an SRC or HiMetal series. They are pushing the collectors limits, all they want is more cash grab from us! booooooo Bandai!

will never happen you know why ? because alot of noobs will buy it anyway
this is exactly like the gaming industry, DLCs and micro transactions, for stuff that SHOULD be within the game in the FIRST place, but the amount of "i dont care i will buy it anyway" is unbelievable
its not about money its about principle
so why Damios have way less diecast than other ? i know he should be more articulated but still there is figures on the market that have ton of diecast and have a decent articulation in same time

Plus the fact that if they eventually changed theyre mind they can still sell it of in lower or same acquisition cost.

I'm only 30, and growing up all of my favorite toys were pure plastic, and only cheap dollar store items might have been metal. To me, it is an action figure. Die cast or plastic, I give no f**ks. If it's a cool character made with no metal, I'm in. If it's a boring character made 100% with metal, I'm not buying it. Daimos looks awesome, and I am thrilled to be able to buy it for ~$130

i agree with @super.Ultra.Robo.Rider
with some designs i really dont care much about diecast like for example the 3zero mazinger z, but i care about quality and durability
but this is a soul of CHOGOKIN guys, it should have more diecast but again this is Daimos we are talking about, there is only the GX-43 and this, so at the end its a must and i trust (hope) that Bandai will use high quality materials in this
they should give us another GX-43 tho

I mean, its def arguable.... How much diecast SOC line have to call itself SOL? 10 percent, 29 percent?
Let's be honest here... Who'd buy SOC if it didn't have any metal? If yes, should it even be considered SOC? How is line distinguish itself from other lines?
To me, metal should be expected in SOC... MY requirement is atleast 25 percent...otherwise a plastic figure or even a highend plastic models can fulfill my needs.

I think from the picture, we cannot tell if there is diecast on the inner legs and inside the torso. I hope so, and not just the green parts and the back of torso. Not going to over think it, and will wait until reviews come out for it when a reviewer can weigh it or compare it to FA Voltes. In the meantime, holding on to that PO.

Agree die cast content in SOC is what makes it different from the other lines of collectibles. But then again there is nothing written in stone about SOC having enough die cast so Bandai has the luxury to decide how much or not to put any. Sigh.....but anyway i havent put any PO yet to this beast! Need to gather more funds....lol

2019 is the 40th anniversary of Daimos anime which aired in 1979. The chance is high for a "R" like the VoltesV 40th. Keep your fingers crossed robros.
