The pics on the Tamashii page are GORGEOUS. I'll MAKE ROOM!! It needs a room! I think in several US states you might have to register it with the DMV and get plates for it.

guys from the day the preorder started till today the figure was and still on sold out status in most of the stores, what does that tell you ? the figure is popular and its on high demand which will lead to... 3x the asking price in the future not to mention the gigantic size will add more to the price my advice for you dont let pass on it, just because you dont have a room for it, because you will regret it (i think i should start a rap career lol) seriously you will end up either paying 3x of the original price or praying for a reissue 1\4 of my room is full of shipping boxes that are packed with gokin inside of them, do i like the view ? nope (kinda yes lol) but the point is i ran out of space long ago but that wont stop me from getting awesome stuff
when i get this hopefully im going to display it next to my TV

Yeah but we know Bandai is King of Reissues! That’s one thing I don’t like about Bandai are the reissues, repaints. There’s no collectible appeal to someone who likes to hunt. I try to sell some of my Bandai stuff I don’t want anymore I usually end selling for less or takes forever to sell. Majority of people besides us collectors don’t even know what some of these robots are. Next generation will most likely not want them. I know nobody in my family or extended family will want them. It’s going to be pain in the butt to sell them off later due to high shipping rates going up each year especially this big of box. Let alone how often do you find local collectors in your area to sell them too. I only buy robots I truly want or have some attachment too. Some of last years Bandai releases I bought for $50-$70 less than preorder so I’m in no rush when it comes to Bandai stuff.

guys it was more of an advice not a must or an order lol
take it or leave it up to you i just to want the GX-71 nightmare to happen again Yeah but we know Bandai is King of Reissues! That’s one thing I don’t like about Bandai are the reissues, repaints. There’s no collectible appeal to someone who likes to hunt. I try to sell some of my Bandai stuff I don’t want anymore I usually end selling for less or takes forever to sell. Some of last years Bandai releases I bought for $50-$70 less than preorder so I’m in no rush when it comes to Bandai stuff. not everything got reissued you have the GX-43, GX-50 and of course GX-71 to name a few, all of those cost at least 3x the original release price
and i agree you with unless you are selling to a collector you will have a hard time selling those gokin, people dont like what they dont know or what they are not familiar with
from my side most of my family and friends know that im hardcore collector, and they are always interested in what im going to get next lol
i think it depends on the robot it self and how popular its some figures like the GX-48K got a 2nd release while it was in the preorder status due to high demand, and some figures like you said get a huge discount like DC Getter and Sigma GX-60R
Google is your friend. Google it and it is available at Bigbadtoystore, entertainment earth, tf-source, Amazon and numerous comic shops. I had it preordered but had to cancel because I won’t have the money this month. Hoping to catch it on sale. I’m also going to get god mars. God Mars I want more.
yes but most of those ask about $20 more than the original price not to mention they will get it after the Japanese store, its still reasonable tho if you need window
oh you wont believe how many gokins i canceled last year, just because i wanted something else, and it worked out good for me since most of them weren't as good as i thought
God Mars will be released in 4 months from now im sure you can save up for, also always get what you really want, im mainuly getting this to complete the set and big of size will be an epic display piece

Just received in stock notification from AE. I’m afraid of what the shipping cost is going to be.
EDIT: Just got shipping quote. ¥7300 fast shipping. Not sure what carrier though. Went ahead and paid.

Well looks like you can scratch GX-71! 😊 I know where you coming from bro. But Bandai is King of Reissues. I’ve been collecting a 30 plus years lots of different toy lines. Nothing hurts collectibility of line or a brand than Reissues. People were saying GX-72 would go up in price or demand once Dragonzord and Titanus come out. But I see BBTS has another preorder on GX-72 again same price as first release.

I don't think reissues are a bad a thing. Helping people collect while getting money is not a bad deal for companies. In my opinion they are a problem when those reissues are too soon, or the product ends up with a Lot of upgrades in the second release. The way bandai do it is just fine for me. I collect a lot of things and I know sometimes this reissues make some item lost part of its market value but in my case I cherish every item in my collection and I'm happy with it so I don't worry about reissues or upgrades, in fact I don't buy twice any character once I have it, and I rarely sell any figure (I will do it only if it's a character I'm really attached to and the new figure is far superior than the one I own).

Woohoo mine arrived! The box is a LOT smaller than I thought (that woman in the picture above must be tiny), which is great as I'm totally out of storage space (main reason for slowing down my collecting). The box is about the same size if not slightly smaller than the HMR Destroid Monster. Now let's see how many weeks/months it'll take me to open it. My Zambot Ace and ET Tetsujin is still sealed......

King Brachion is a simple release, but ultimately what Bandai released here does exactly what it needs to do. I'm glad Bandai added an additional support piece to keep the combined Daizyujin upright in case your copy gets loose. The paint job and tampo-printing is beautiful.

HLJ just shipped mine (they took alot of time to ship this time)
the shipping cost was about 6000 Yen, but interestingly same figure with AE cost about 7300 Yen for shipping
either that AE is adding their own % in the shipping cost or they are far away from any post office lol
