The Legacy is all plastic and it's 100% solid. The combined Ultrazord in no way feels loose or unstable. This won't need metal - but it would be nice. Again, vintage Sentai carries (like DyJupiter) are all plastic. So, a gokinless Titanus wouldn't be out of character. But an SoC without diecast would. So we'll see.... Which version of the Legacy do you have of Titanus (mind you, I only know of the one released in 2015 as "Legacy")...? While I do not own it, I am quite certain diecast is located on the chest plate, claws, wheels, and on the tail at least from reviews and people I've chatted with? I bought Legacy Titanus last summer on eBay. I could be wrong, but I'm not aware of any variants. The wheels are plastic, the chest plate is plastic, the claws are plastic and the tail is plastic. The gold chain is the only metal. It's an extremely high quality piece, though. The SoC will be remarkable.

I dunno, I suspect you have the 1993 version...because, part of what made the Legacy release from 2014-15 so pricey was the inclusion of metal in the parts I had mentioned. The 1993 version is all plastic except the chain. You should probably go check.

Yumcha is right and what he said could have been Googled before contesting. Coletron are you possibly mixing things up becayse of the word "Legacy?" Legacy is a toyline released in the 2010s while the ones ci l originally released in the latter 90s are considered "DX" versions which is a common term used for original versions of mecha toys like Popy, Godaiken, etc.

I need this. Already in love with this thing. It still is missing some paint in the front paws. I hope they fix this for release.

Okay, Guys... sorry for the misinformation.
I removed mine from the display case and checked it yesterday at midnight right before my post. I must have been tired. I examined it again this AM, and did the lick test. The gold parts (the tips of the tail, claws, rings on the chest piece and chain) are diecast as well as the rims.
Now I know. Thanks for pointing it out - I appologize for taking precious space on the thread.

Why the heck wouldn't you peeps who can qualify for places that give free shipping? Unless some Tamashii exclusive, most SoC releases that go to BBTS, Toysource, et al are decently priced...so, if you can get it free to your door, hell yes. I wish I had some semblance of free shipping up here in Canadark.

yup even the page says its based off the legacy, seems to almost be a 1:1 version from the diecast parts mentioned, that does raise the Q tho wheres the price increase going?

How can it be 1:1 when the Legacy can't fit the SOCs?
This is beautiful.

'almost', seem to be no major differences apart from resizing, I guess that increase in size is where the extra money is going then, not a problem for me, you cant exactly improve alot on the already excellent legacy mold
