Why can't they give Iron-Kaiser Some Treatment........... This is not out of the table! At Prometeo we are targeting gokin models of a scale comparable to Bandai SOC, Sentinel Riobot, CMS Brave Gokin, etc., and, in particular, we are willing to focus on robot characters that did not get a model yet! The Mazinkaiser SKL was a natural choice for a start-up release, but, if the Mazinkaiser SKL will be a success (as we expect ) all characters will be on the table! And I can't tell you more: our plan is to listen directly to what collectors want, including which model and, to certain extends, which features. We will provide the means on our website, so it will be only up to you to make hear you voice I hope this post was helpful to you. Cheers, Prometeo Toys Since you guys already have a dynamic brand and are looking to do robots that haven't been done: Ashura Mazinger Sayaka version Venus A Wingle Getter Queen Getter Armageddon 2, 3, shin 2, shin 3, Liger, and Poseidon Neo Getter robo I think that's everything I've been turning grey waiting for bandai to pump out. And dear god please if you guys start doing combining robots remember locking tabs and pegs. I'm looking forward to this SKL. Definitely going to buy it, hoping it scales well with the SOC. Please don't forget the spear/poleaxe mode for the guns

Welcome to our board.
I have a couple of questions hoping we'll get an answer.
1- Is the pre-order's going to be available at the general (Amarican-Chinese-Japanese) web shops or exclusive ones?
2- Any possibility of making a combiner figure in SOC scale?
3- Any possibility of making upgrade parts for SOC & SRC figures? like: Articulated hands for SOC figures, Missing weapons from the original set for both SOC & SRC, Articulated head for SOC figures with LEDs, etc

Make a Dangaioh that doesn't have to combine (but would be great if it did) at a SOC size of around 8-9" and I'll buy 10. Been waiting over 30 years for a half decent figure of one of my top three favorite robots.

Let us not overwhelm our friends at Prometeo with What Mecha we want, as all will come in good times, In my humble opinion, we can help them by giving insights on their current stuff which is SKL. Now let us think Pals ?? There were no doubt a number of Awesome SKL releases in the past, however one might say that this figure would have been more awesome if they did "..........." You fill the dots my friends and by the end of the day it is a matter of thought either to be taken or not. To me, the white cape of the SRC was a cool addition by it hinders the poseability big time, it would be a nice addition with cloth and internal wires (Sentinel). TH'x

Hello guys, thanks a lot for the wishes! hello and welcome to our boards, we are so happy and glad you joined us, this will be very beneficial for both of us the customers and manufacturer
my bad i wasn't specific, i was talking about the regular Mazinkaiser (soul of chogokin gx-75) im sure you are aware they used a thin plastic pegs for the chest plate that tend to break which kinda ruined the joy of the figure
what i want to see in your product
a cloth cape
a damage head (with LEDs if possible)
and i would love to see the figure with some decent articulation (like or better than the SRC)
lastly you mentioned that you are willing to do robots that didn't get a figure yet, we have a thread for those robots that we want to have in our collection
you can check it and if any of them is possible we could also do a poll to help you even more
thank you and i hope this figure turn out to be an amazing figure We are aware about the issue with pegs from the GX-75, but that will not be our case since the plugging system is different (a big central peg), like in the SRC Mazinkaiser SKL. Anyway, we are ensuring to use the plastic plastic and avoid cheap solutions. For the critical articulations we are going to provide the metal ball-joints with a POM (or POM-like) socket, for the maximum grip. Shoulders, elbows and knees will get metal ratchet joints, the most solid type of joints. Legs (hip) are a particular composite joint, which will be a traditional friction joint (really similar to the SRC), but we will make sure to provide the right hold. About the accessories, don't worry, you will get plenty, but I am still waiting to publish a specific post. Sadly, I can't tell you from now that there will not be any lightning system: the reason is that it would add too much complexity to the project and it would increase the cost beyond our acceptance threshold. Thank you for the list Since you guys already have a dynamic brand and are looking to do robots that haven't been done: Ashura Mazinger Sayaka version Venus A Wingle Getter Queen Getter Armageddon 2, 3, shin 2, shin 3, Liger, and Poseidon Neo Getter robo I think that's everything I've been turning grey waiting for bandai to pump out. And dear god please if you guys start doing combining robots remember locking tabs and pegs. I'm looking forward to this SKL. Definitely going to buy it, hoping it scales well with the SOC. Please don't forget the spear/poleaxe mode for the guns Read more: robotjapan.proboards.com/thread/25374/prometheus-mazinkaiser-skl-project?page=2#ixzz5SJnW2U7fYes, our SKL size is made to fit the Bandai's scale for the Go-Nagai robot series. So it will be taller than gx-75. We are still defining how much because there are other models we are keeping in consideration (Aoshima Mazinkaiser and Sentinel Mazinkaiser). Again, you will not be disappointed at all by the accessories: you will get more than you would expect. Once we finalize the 3D models I will publish the entire list. About the future models, it's very too early to speak about them (simply because if the SKL will not sell enough there will be no more). Anyway, we are not big as Bandai, and we have room to explore robot character that are not super famous like a Mazinger Z. The Wingle for example, is a natural candidate for a second phase. Of course, if we do it, wings will be interchangeable with the SKL, no questioning about that Let us not overwhelm our friends at Prometeo with What Mecha we want, as all will come in good times, In my humble opinion, we can help them by giving insights on their current stuff which is SKL. Now let us think Pals ?? There were no doubt a number of Awesome SKL releases in the past, however one might say that this figure would have been more awesome if they did "..........." To me, the white cape of the SRC was a cool addition by it hinders the poseability big time, it would be a nice addition with cloth and internal wires (Sentinel). TH'x Actually it's too early to make a list. In the future, we will get to the community with a poll to see the preferences. Something tells me that you will get your mantle, but it will be not in the SRC version. Regards, Prometeo Toys

News posted (FB): Dear supporters, we are back again! We are not posting any design update recently because we are still working on a lot of improvements and we are completely busy. We have so much in progress that we are at least as much excited as much we are tired (why only 24h in day?). Today, I will share some insight about which toy segment the Mazinkaiser SKL gokin is meant for. Our main reference line, we can say it clear, it's the Bandai's Soul of Chogokin. Therefore, in terms of quality, we are aiming at the best execution possible, with high fidelity to the character representation, a lot of die-cast Dear supporters we are back again!parts, high posability and a full range of accessories (we don't want to argue about the actual standards of the production, neither which company produces the best toy models at the moment; the point is to state clear what is the propulsive intention). No need to say that we aim to do better than others. One side effect of this choice is that we will be producing models whose size will fall approximately in the range of 17-27cm, meaning that our models, the Mazinkaiser SKL in particular, will fit well collections made around Bandai Soul of Chogokin, CMS Brave Gokin, Sentinel Riobot, Max Factory MaxGokin, Aoshima Shinseiki Gokin, etc... We know that size consistency might be an important aspect in a collection, so, we are trying our best to keep a reasonable progression with robots original sizes. But there is more. Since the SOC line is very rich of models from the Go Nagai universe, we decided to keep the consistency with that, in order to give to the collectors a Makinkaiser SKL could fit perfectly their Mazin-collection! The Makinkaiser SKL will be the tallest of the SOC Mazingers, thus, slightly taller of the GX-75 Mazinkaiser. The final size is still not defined since we are also considering the height difference with Mazinkaisers from Aoshima and Sentinel (our current orientation is that it should not be smaller).

I'm doing now: 1) the sale worldwide, with no edition distinction across countries. 2) Yes, that's for sure in our future plan, but it's too early now to talk about any project. 3) Yes! (you read in our mind!). That's also a closer possibility than point three. If there will be an after-Mazinkaiser, we will explore how much collectors are interested in expansion set (personally I am really much, but we can't start a production just for myself alone ^^). As already said, we want to be the production collectors-driven as much as possible.

since you will sell worldwide, am I correct in assuming you guys are selling officially licensed product instead of a high quality 3rd party KO like the voltron beast king something from madtoys

Welcome to the board Prometheus! I sincerely wish you the best.
As you probably know, Figure collectors are a fickle and extremely "passionate" bunch (imho of course), thus I stand in awe of anyone who decides to go into this industry.
I have considered jumping into this field myself couple of times in the past...but I just don't have the patience nor the thick enough skin to face off with the costumer base...haha
And Since SOMEONE here did bring up a wish, I do wish for some B-characters from Mazinger universe myself... I would LOVE Some badguy gokin mechs from Infinity Mazinger. Garada and that Plane Kikaiju comes to mind. (That would be epic for me but I understand Badai has a deathgrip stranglehold on that license for sometimes to come...)

Hello everyone! I have finally come back with updates! I know we have been silent for a while, but changes required much work than expected. You can find updates on our Facebook page as always (https://www.facebook.com/the.mazinkaiser.skl.project), but I am pasting the information here as well for your convenience. This is the list of the latest updates with pictures: - new hands: improved details. The model will come with four sets: closed, open, closed to hold the sword, half-closed to handle the guns). - Ganzanto (sword): first time shown. As you will see the handle is extensible. - Wing Cross (wings): we changed the hinges to make the less visible and, so, more elegant. - Stand base: don't get it wrong, it will be black with no painting. Pictures are in grey just to show better the details. The base is provided with a small pilder stand that can be plugged interchangeably on the left slot or in the right slot. The same plug used to hang the sword to the Mazinkaiser is used to hang the sword to the figure holder. As you will notice, the base stand will come with a drawer where to place extra accessories. Similarly to other previous models, the figure holder will come with two plug systems, peg and pinch (you will see them when we will show pictures of the updated Mazinkaiser SKL). What are we up now? Finalizing the two breast plates and Skull Pilder, and improving some shapes. Enjoy the pictures and let us know what you think. (for the pictures please see the FB page, I didn't succeed to link them to this board). Till next time!
