Soooo part of the reason that these all have such similar body shapes is that they're actually modular! They'll be able to change bodyparts and scranders and whatnot between each other. THAT is freaking cool. It looks like even the chests can separate from the torso and whatnot so there's actually quite a bit that can be done with these. Check out this video advertisement:

The idea is pretty Cool, and although I'm not a fan of redesigns they look good. The problem is that with so much cool releases happening and the actual prices I think this line will have to make a very big effort to succeed. I think most collectors are at the limit of their budget and this releases seems dispensable.

There's a large article and around 30 pics of robots and schematics from the Lucca 2018 Dynamic Fusion presentation at: itakon.it/giapponesi/lucca-2018-presentazione-del-progetto-dynamic-evolution-di-tamashi-mix.htmlA possible comic is in the works to add a back story to the line. According to itakon, "The official synopsis behind the project is more or less this: all Go Nagai robots are defeated by an alliance of enemies, the creators scientists of our assembled heroes decide to create a new army based on Jeeg technology, with modular components and a cybernetic suit that allows the pilot to become the robot's head." Not sure if I'm in on this line; but things are getting interesting....
