Okay, this is number one on my wish list! It's a definite buy for me. This is a stunning modern take on this classic - I'd love a vintage DX Daiku, but it's so rare. Maybe someday I'll make a trip to Japan to hunt one down. But until then, this will do nicely!
I hope a Gaiking body can be connected as the head, and the remaining parts stored inside. It would also be rad if it's articulated to recreate that spinning mega-attack.
Yes, this will be bigger than my dog - and more expensive. But I can't wait to welcome it into my home....

The issue I had with GX-27 Gaiking is that some of the collapsing parts (torso and legs) collapse way too easy without a beefy stopper on the rails. Which I took apart and 'fixed' by adding a drop of super glue to make that stopper on the rail where its suppose click in place to stop. That fixed my issues. Mine doesn't have loose hip or ankles. But since it is an older release, the ankles are not super tight or sturdy, just the norm of similar release at the time. I am very curious if DX Daikumaryu will come with a new Gaiking, since it IS part of the dragon (head, and the body parts house inside the belly). Doesn't seem complete as a DX without a Gaiking, even though most of us already have GX-27. At the very least, I hope they design to work with GX-27 so the dragon head is compatible in some way. I hope they have an improved GX-27 with it. And the 3 other vehicles (bazoler, skylar, nessar) to put in Daiku’s belly.

Worse scenario would be a GX-27R that is compatible to the DX, but you have to buy it separately, while the original GX-27 does not fit. T_T

Personally this is more must have than Titanus. This is one of those I can find or make room. 😛 I guess question is what is this beast going to cost.

Yeah. Going to have to agree with the folks here in terms of comparing this to GX-85.
Titanus was just a lazy retool that wasn't made a bit wider to accomodate the GX-72 more easily. That and the Ultrazord is a wobbly mess with the weak shoulder ratchets on GX-72.

Like GX-05, this Daiku seems less bulky and more articulated/flexible than Titanus. Therefore, Daiku should be easier to display in a smaller space than that other monstrosity.

The Gaiking and Space Dragon faces are completely different designs in the samples exhibited here. There doesn't appear to be any thought of a combination.

I see a slot for probably the Giant Cutter and that tab on the neck is most likely for the Volution Protect. I'm wondering if it will com with Miracle Drills, the alternate head, and the Big horn?

Sorry for the bump but it’s been nearly a year since this was announced and shown in final product form. Where is it???
