Looks fantastic.

i think this is the first FA i will say pass to it just doesn't look good for me On the other hand, I was ready to give this a pass too, but that posability is doing it for me, especially the kneeling pose. Think I might get this after all... Though, like TJ said, shame it's not bigger. If it was the same size as the original SOC Ideon, that'd be killer.

Big Ideon fan, but not a fan of this sculpt. Head seem big and the abs are very narrow, lower arms seem short and thick. Probably a pass for me.

im glad that you like it
i guess its about the engineering if they became bigger it might less articulated
another point the price tag might also get higher if they got bigger
for me im happy with their size i can display them next to non combiner soc with no problems, no figure will overshadow the other

Dang, I was hoping one of the next FA's would be Golion or Dairugger. Hopefully GX-93 is Albegas.

I remain confused as to why they are doing a super articulated FA of a robot that was deliberately chunky, clunky and very stiff moving on screen. On screen Ideon moved like Frankenstein. I just don't see what the FA line brings to the character. What we really need is a new release of GX-36, but with the fatal shoulder flaw re-engineered and fixed.

While I got lucky with shoulders still intact, GX-36 Ideon can use a new strong ratchet hip that can withstand its own weight instead of flopping around like a ragdoll. Not sure if Bandai really think it through which bot 'needs' the FA treatment. But rather which they can make to make money due to the bot's popularity.

But no you didn't get lucky with having intact GX-36 Shoulders. It just means those plastic bushings hadn't split YET on yours, the last time you looked. It will happen. There is nothing you can do to prevent it. It isn't caused by movement or anything you do. The stress is from a too large metal pin going through a too small hole in a plastic bushing. The bushing will eventually split from the stress. Even if just left the robot mint in box.

Sold out much quicker than I expected. Hope I can get one at BBTS or something. Glad the FA series is doing well. Hopefully we'll get an FA Gaogaigar some day too...

I looked at my copy, and yeah, both bushings have split. I'm at a loss as to what to do about it though. Will the arms eventually fall apart? Is there any type of fix, or 3d printed part out there or something we can do (apart from waiting for an R version)?
