Thanks for sharing. FA Ideon looks very skinny. Yeah, Obari-fied... Based on Wotafa's review. Goods 1No squeky joints! 2No falling Parts! 3Amazing posability. Bads 1Source inaccurate sculpt/proportion 2Not enough exterial metal?..(less then 30 percent?) 3still a Styro coffin?...this thing EASILY could have put into a blister or even more ecofriendly recycled cardboard fiber...but nope! Bandai still stuck in 70's... 4.a careless, lazy and unsightly ugly UGLY utilitarian floaty shoulder joints...when its extended.

Would have been perfect if it has the Jumbo's proportion, but retain the FA's articulation (which is sooo doable, but they chose not to).

The actual action starts at 3:20...whew over 3 min of intro? Yuch! Is it just me, or does it look really really toy like. And I don't mean in a good way toylike. I mean it has no visual weight. It has obvious gappy action figure joints all over. Those shoulders joints look horrible the way they are hanging on clearly visible pegs. This was a truly lousy choice for an FA. I love Ideon. I really liked the show. I would love to do everything I can to encourage more good Ideon Gokin. But this one is gonna wait until it hits a deep sale at HLJ or BBTS. It's not like Ideon was a super flexible Kung Fu Robot. It moved like Frankenstein on screen a big stiff lumbering force of nature. Even the Missile effects parts look kind of cheesy. And I live for cool effects parts.

And I live for cool effects parts. Well the movements were clumsy up until it went ham on a meteor with the Ideon Swords in that one episode. But yeah, the sculpt still feels off in some places and the Ideon Swords are also missing on the FA. I love the new diecast joints but it does have the weird gappiness for some key poses. I personally would have loved a Renewal SoC of the old mold with stronger joints and other minor changes to help articulation.

Hi guys, still working through the backlogs from 2020 (several SOCs arrived locally very late after their releases thanks to the pandemic), but here's my review for the Gx-92 Full Action Ideon. Please click on image to proceed to the review: Easily the weakest release for me in the Full Action sub-line. It just feels like Bandai didn't put much effort into this one. Gold

I recently picked up the GX-92, my first FA. I really like it! Bandai nailed the dimensions of the anime representation with the sculpt. It's less of a toyish look and makes sense for the FA. It might be more comfortable looming over some SRCs from the back row, as the GX-36 does to its SOC counterparts. Thought hefty, there's very little diecast on the outside, so I'm curious - would this figure be comparable in production style to any of the various Metal (Build/Composite/Robot) lines? Ideon already shares Gundam DNA, so it wouldn't be all that wrong. Really enjoying Ideon's gripping hands that swivel open/shut. They make everything with the gun easy. Interestingly, they are the only aspect of this figure that betrays the anime-accurate aesthetic, with their bright metal pins looking a bit retro and very toy-like. Anyway, no regrets with this purchase. I'll think about some of the other FAs with fill out the ranks of the SRCs, and still on board for a GX-36R when the time comes.

Those have more intricate multi color and finish paint app (gloss play against matte, use of metallic and pearlescent...etc.), a lot of tampo printed decals, and the inner body is literally a diecast skeleton inside, not just a metal ball joint or hinge here and there connected to a block of metal in torso or leg segment. FA is closest to Bandai's own SRC line (which sort of died out), but with beefed up articulation and slight upgrade in material and size.

Here's Ideon hanging out with SRC Jeeg and SRC Shin Getter. GX-92 scales decently with the SRCs, making the FA series a really nice unofficial send-off to the SRC line.

Ideon is the only FA that i dont have i just felt that the last two i bought weren't that good (Zambot 3 & Daitarn 3) on top of that im not that related to the robot so it was a pass
i hope they continue with the FA line i need ton of stuff from them just imagine Voltron, Dairugger, Daltanious, Tobikage, GodSigma, God Mars... well lets say its a long list lol
