You know these would make great posters, I always loved the cutaway ones where it showed the inner workings or more detail.

Hey sideshowsito, did you actually buy Maya? Well, ok, I don't want you to incriminate yourself, so let me ask this: do you use Maya as part of your profession, or is it something you have for your own fun and amusement? The only reason I'm asking is because I know how expensive it is!

=) yes i have education background in computer animation and photography. LOL i wish i learned it for fun tho .. DEADLINES are a byatch! .. and yup maya is crazy expensive for any home owner to use ! Im using maya 6.5 for modelling and im preparing the textures and some sample renders . Right now im head strung fine tuning the tires for the VOLT FRIGATE but im a sucker for detail when it comes to these things and anyone who works with 3D software knows it painstakingly takes forever to make sure everything is tiptop! With the new images surfacing up for the Bomber and Panzer ... im getting real anxious to see the final results ... almost done with FRIGATE ! stay tuned dudes!

hey guys question ... im fine tuning the cockpit of the VOLT FRIGATE but was wondering .. I know Steve Armstrong yells out " lets Volt In " than he yanks on those two handle grip things and this canopy opens up ... a panel at the top and panel below to reveal the Voltes V robot controls ......
Just wondering if any of you guys noticed but are all the VOLT ships the same controls like the one that Steve uses ( the one we've seen many times ) or are each all different ? ( im kinda hoping theyre all the same thats why ... that way i dont have to create each one for each ship uniquely on its own design )
This is taking up longer than I thought but I will get this done regardless ..

AFAIK, all 5 of the control panels change.
When they show all 5 pilots in the 'broken glass' view while shouting "...IN" their control panel grips are horizontal, and they have the antenaae sticking out.
but, it's too early in the morning, and I haven't had coffee or sleep yet, so I could be wrong.

LOL ... slow but its coming OJA =) ... I want this to be the ultimate ever and not have anything rushed. I keep running into situations where I have to find whats best ( if i cant find any reference ) to ensure that I wont add MORE work for me once I have the ships combine .. in the end Im sure this will all pay off ... sorry im taking a while but need not worry . I will not abandon the project dude
