Hey sideshowsito, did you actually buy Maya? Well, ok, I don't want you to incriminate yourself, so let me ask this: do you use Maya as part of your profession, or is it something you have for your own fun and amusement? The only reason I'm asking is because I know how expensive it is!
Mr. Furious: D-do you mean my secret identity? 'Cause I couldn't...
Monica: No, I just mean your name.
Mr. Furious: My name. Ummm... wow. Okay... It's... Phoenix... Phoenix Dark... Dirk... Phoenix... Dark Dirk. I was christened Dirk Steel and then I changed it to Phoenix...
Monica: Forget about it. It's okay.
Mr. Furious: It's Roy! That's, that's my name. My... my real name is Roy.
Monica: Just. Be. Roy. Okay?

=) yes i have education background in computer animation and photography. LOL i wish i learned it for fun tho .. DEADLINES are a byatch! ..
and yup maya is crazy expensive for any home owner to use ! Im using maya 6.5 for modelling and im preparing the textures and some sample renders . Right now im head strung fine tuning the tires for the VOLT FRIGATE but im a sucker for detail when it comes to these things and anyone who works with 3D software knows it painstakingly takes forever to make sure everything is tiptop!
With the new images surfacing up for the Bomber and Panzer ... im getting real anxious to see the final results ... almost done with FRIGATE ! stay tuned dudes!

hey guys question ... im fine tuning the cockpit of the VOLT FRIGATE but was wondering .. I know Steve Armstrong yells out " lets Volt In " than he yanks on those two handle grip things and this canopy opens up ... a panel at the top and panel below to reveal the Voltes V robot controls ......
Just wondering if any of you guys noticed but are all the VOLT ships the same controls like the one that Steve uses ( the one we've seen many times ) or are each all different ? ( im kinda hoping theyre all the same thats why ... that way i dont have to create each one for each ship uniquely on its own design )
This is taking up longer than I thought but I will get this done regardless ..

LOL ... slow but its coming OJA =) ... I want this to be the ultimate ever and not have anything rushed. I keep running into situations where I have to find whats best ( if i cant find any reference ) to ensure that I wont add MORE work for me once I have the ships combine .. in the end Im sure this will all pay off ... sorry im taking a while but need not worry . I will not abandon the project dude

say , do you guys have any suggestions of any free sites ( ftp ) to upload some movie files ? i have some really cool 3d wireframe ' rotation ' of the model and would like to upload it .. but dont know of any ... would be neat to show the model in 360 view thats all ...
blitzkriegomega: to those of you who like Getter Robo: if a Getter Rekka figure came out, would you buy it?

TaurusOxford: I wish this forum had [timg] options or at least the ability to hide massive pictures behind a spoiler tag. All of those giant GaoFighGar pictures in the SRC GGG thread are annoying to have to load up every time I go to there.
Jul 29, 2014 14:20:41 GMT -5
blitzkriegomega: Agreed. that's why I put the images I link in other threads behind links colored bright green....

TheMazingerZ: Sometimes the "new and improved" ImageShack screws up the re-sized pictures in the accounts, and makes them NOT re-sized. It does it to me very often...
Aug 2, 2014 12:38:36 GMT -5
TaurusOxford: That's why everyone should use imgur.com instead. FAR better image hosting site.
Aug 5, 2014 11:30:37 GMT -5
blitzkriegomega: that doesn't fix the image size thing. paint.net does, but direct uploads are easier....this site needs collapse things...
Aug 6, 2014 23:54:36 GMT -5
TaurusOxford: It would fix them to some degree, since you can choose "large thumbnail" once you have the images uploaded to imgur. It would still be a sh*tload of images, but at least it wouldn't break the forum tables and you can see the whole image.

blitzkriegomega: So...my random question that will never get answered. is there ANY robot you would want in a MODERN Gokin/Figure/Model Kit that has NEVER gotten such treatment before? and what line would you want it in? and by modern, I mean anything made AFTER GX-01.
Aug 7, 2014 18:14:25 GMT -5
blitzkriegomega: and no, resin kits/conversion sets DON'T count. it has to be an official release.
Aug 7, 2014 18:28:26 GMT -5
TaurusOxford: I'll answer it, although i'm not sure it would count. SRC Dragonzord. Yes I know it has figure from '93 and the Legacy version, but I want an actual figure, not a brick.
Aug 7, 2014 22:14:38 GMT -5
blitzkriegomega: the cutoff is 1997, and if the Legacy is just a reprint of the original, it counts as needing a Modern figure.
Aug 7, 2014 22:31:50 GMT -5
TaurusOxford: The Legacy is a complete redo of the '93 toy(much like how the 2010 Megazord is a redo of the old '93 Megazord). No SRC for me.
Aug 7, 2014 22:46:04 GMT -5
blitzkriegomega: sorry to hear that ;w; if it makes you feel any better, I can't say Getter Go (TV Ver) even though it's in desperate need of a toy because of the Revoltech of the Manga Version, which may as well be the same thing.

tetsuryu: God Mazinger.
Aug 10, 2014 23:43:36 GMT -5
blitzkriegomega: God Getter could also apply :3 but yeah, what did it have? an 80s Gokin with swivel arms?

magengar: An SRC of the robot Jet Jaguar
