Not holding breath...
Acutally with the ultraman series, this should not come as a surprise to many of us. Sentai bots are likely candidates since they totally dig 'em in Japan. Problem since Saban haven't hacked them up over there...OT but what do you guys think of the chance of getting SOC Valkyries? If they can make Evas, they most certainly make Valks. Also, those of you who have the ultraman stuff, what is the diecast content like? Worth the money?

Mazfan, thanks for voicing out your opinion. I thougth I was the only one who thinks GX-31 is utterly 'stupid'. Anyway, I was never a big fan of those human-acting super robot series (e.g., untra-man and power rangers .... uhhhhg), and will never be.
Just my personal opinion.

I'm all over this.I would much rather see a wider variety of characters instead of praying for a character that has seven versions made within the past 4 years.I don't need a SOC,maxgokin, aoshima, takara, whoeverelse version of every character.

Mazfan, you just need to see the Popy Dx in person. Come to the next east Coast Summit.

Mazfan being Pinoy is not unfamiliar with Sentai series...Afterall they had Go Rangers over there under the guise of the Star Rangers...
Battle Fever J (I think J means Japan) sparks up nationalism over there (Japan) and naturally people get excited. Sun Vulcan, Bioman, etc. are all part of this series...
I'm not a big fan and as I indicated earlier in this post, while everyone were cheering this one on, I was giving it my jeers. The whole live action robot-man-in a suit deal-o reminds me too much of Jetjaguar and does get the juices flowing. I think if Daimos or Reideen was superceded by BJ than it will make me angry, however I will have to think hard about getting this. Ah, yes, I've seen the Popy and still not excited, I'd rather get Goshogun! ;D

True true... we still get our fair share of Sentai here, most of which are from Saban, which really sucks. Power Rangers (Ninja Storm, Wildforce, etc). The only good Sentai series we had here includes Bioman, Goggle V, and more recently Gransazers.
By the way, some local stations here still air very old Metal Hero shows like Shaider, Gavin/Gavan, Jiban, and some old henshin shows like KM Black.
I haven't seen BFJ, but I'm slightly excited by it being the next SOC just because the bot looks so FRICKEN FUNKY!

This battle fever robo looks like it'll be pretty posable. That pic on the previous page says that it has a double jointed neck and double jointed elbows, and that the ankles are like those of the extended mia gouf.

The thighs look like they will have very minimal range in posability due to the fact that the skirt is one big circle and can't move.

And after GX-31 is released, BANDAI should bring THE CHOGOKIN line back and put GB-03(but smaller) in that line.

Now a nice Jet jaguar chogokin made by whoever would be nice... Agreed, he would be pretty cool. You would think they would do this. Kinda fits right into the robo-set. They did MechaG several times over, and Gigan. Why not a Jet Jaguar? Then maybe a Mogera to finish the set.

Off topic(GX-31 topic) for a moment.I would like to see BANDAI make a mostly die-cast Chogokin Mechagodzilla '93. Its design looks likeBANDAI can be able to manipulate die-cast throughout most of its body easily due to its smooth and streamlined look. Hopefully by the end of this year BANDAI may think of adding MG 93 to the die-cast Godzilla line.

I think Bandai should just expand the line they had going with the diecast Mechagodzilla and Gigan or start a new line of diecast Godzilla figures. They should make all the robots and monsters cause who says you can't have a diecast Kaiju, I would love to have a diecast Godzilla or King Ghidora. But as seeing as the last Godzilla movie came out I not sure if Bandai has any confidence in the Godzilla product anymore.
