From Massimo M. from AnimeExport in MechanicalForum.it: "I must be excused with the webmaster and others of this forum because in Lucca Comics I have said they that Aoshima would have produced the Shin Getter 2 and 3 the next year. I would have had to be silent. Nearly sure these models will not come produced for a licence problem... when I have gone away from Tokyo in order coming to the fair of Lucca there was already ready the 3D designs and I was thinking next to what to make for our exclusive versions, then unfortunately is succeeded the disaster, that is that Dynamic has not granted one extension of the licence. The speech of the licensing is not thus simple like you can believe, does not work like is capacities to believe itself, that is that a company takes the licence for Shin Getter Robo and can produce all which seem and appeal to it. Every single model must be fired, and the licensor it must have all the relative data of what will be the end product, that is the used materials, the height, etc etc. Quite the licensor can refuse the product once ended, passed succeeded what in with the Kotobukiya that has had to cancel a production of Super Wars Robot because before the escape the licensor has approved of the end product. At the moment the rights for Shin Getter 1, 2 and 3 have not been renew, it can be one temporary what like succeeding with the Arcadia or can be one what that will go ahead for years. Of sure the next time I have to shut up." (babelfish&me translation )

I may be reading it wrong (or reading it right and Babelfish read it wrong first)... but that sounds really harsh. A company can go through all the trouble (and cost) to develop a product before the licensor (Dynamic) can step in and shut it all down?! Whoa... I'd never deal with a company like that - too risky.

Yeah, I don't understand any of this either. It would seem they would have at least done Shin Getter 2 and 3 by now, considering they released SG1 (not to mention Neo Getter and all the others) so long ago, instead of waiting for the license to expire to consider it.
Also, has there been any word on a future GX-06 reissue? With all the Getters being released, Bandai should recognize the Getters' continuing popularity, and there are still many SOC newcomers who would like to have the classic designs to go with their Aoshimas.

I agree with you dear Rex-203, their is something I don't understand in their politic...

We should create a " Petition for Shin Getter 2 & 3 " They already have the 3D realization design for these gohkins, if they know that a lot of people will surely buy them, they should be interested to repurchase the license. ;D Miracle House is a small company, they surely listen and replay to us, as they have already do when I asked them about the bad design of the first prototype of Black Getter

delaying release for shin 2 & 3 is understandable. Considering that Shin getter 1 is the most popular one aoshima was wise to focus on a "sure" thing and not take a chance in releasing 2 & 3. Foregoing other getter 1 releases before their license expires, likely would've minimized corporate earnings I would've done exactly the same thing if I was in charge of aoshima Bandai: would likely re-issue GX-06 as they have re-issued most everything SOC under the sun...its just a matter of time. I've learned with bandai that patients is in fact a virtue and you'll be sorry if you don't take that to heart with respect to bandai product purchases

indeed lancerx, the year 207 was a truly dull year for toys, but so were the most of the following 1800 ;D
SCNR
but don't be too sure, this year will have a lot of toys in store for us that will drain our wallets. we all know, resistance is futile ;D

Just an update on reissues. I wrote an Email last week to Maxfactory regarding their reissue Genesic Gaogaigar Max Gokin through their website. Surprisingly they replied. It looks like the Max Gokin GGGG will be reissued this summer 2007. Gold
