you guys have to realize the FISTS that were included in the V5 SOC was for the classic pose of V5...wherein he holds the sword above his head...that is why there is a lot of wiggle room...
The fist was not meant to hold the sword the way JoshB showed it on the video.
Having said that...don't we just wish the Voltes V SOC "R" version should have extra fists for different poses?

Length is 21 CM or 8.67 inches. Cool! Is it 100% diecast? Is it made by Bandai? Yep 100% diecast(or so Ebay sellers from Hongkong claim, not too sure about the red "V" part of the handle). Not made by Bandai. Not an official SOC item. Note that there are no markings whatsoever showing the name "Voltes", "Soul of Chogokin" or "Bandai" on the box. It's also out over at Ebay. Search word :Sky Sword. Interestingly enough, the box is actually slightly blue-green. Local toy specialty shops here in Manila already have the Sword. They're also selling it with the 18$ price tag. One thing to note(acccording to one shop) is that the sword tip is very sharp. So I guess it could accidentally stab somebody. Better not leave it lying around the room if there's a child around Gold

Not made by Bandai. Not an official SOC item. Who made it? Not sure really, I think it's customized for the Hongkong Market. Made in China according to Ebay sellers. There aren't any markings on the box or toy other than the character "Soul" and "Gx31" and the characters saying "TenKuken". Gold

I haven't recieved my Voltes yet but how is the elbow joint for stiffness, will it be able to hold a diecast sword with out drooping?

The elbows are fairly taut. I think the main problem is the hand socket popping out of the ball attachment. Lookie here...
