more non-Brave Gokin from CM's news- "CM's Corp will make their own fully transforming, and combining Gaiking The Great (including Gaiking, Raiking, and Bullking)". GoShogun, Patlabor, now Gaiking the Great! time to shine CM's!!! Holy cow!!! Thanks for the headsup MannyD, I knew it! I hope it'll be in scale with the GE Gaiking. here's the article over at Zinc Panic, I hope Gaiking the Great will be part of the Brave Gokin line. www.zincpanic.com/article/26631.htmlGold

Didn't somebody post that CM was also going to make a die cast fully transformable Baangaan?

Didn't somebody post that CM was also going to make a die cast fully transformable Baangaan? They are working on it, they showed photos of a greyed version at a recent event (dig around in the brave section). It's probably going to be a longer term project for them. In the meantime they seem to be aiming more for Bandai's SOC line.

Is anyone who is going to buy this willing to post a review of the toy? I'm not really a collector, but I'm a big fan of Go Shogun. If the toy is any good, it'll be my first big collectable toy purchase.

Thanks for the images Ed...it sure seems poseable. It looks very similar to the GE-10 variant from Bandai though so I'm not sure if i want one or not . and what's with the pebble finish look on some of the surfaces ?

bomberx, I'm curious, what seems so similar to you about this and the GE-10? I actually think it's fairly rare to find diecast toys of the same character that are so *different*. Totally different proportions, range of articulation, finish, and this will also combine into gaiking the great- the GE-10 on the other hand was really just a rather forced mod of the SOC. (I love the SOC, no complaints there in particular)

I don't really like the design of the horns. Gaiking is definitely one of my favorites. I like the addition of the battle ax, but I'm not so fond of the shield. If only they would have made the crest design more menacing, I'm not sure what it is, but it just doesn't look right to me.

I do not like it.
By owning both the SOC and the Rvoltech I got him covered. ;D

It's okay but I already have the Bandai version so I'll probably pass (but when they do release Raiking and Vulking I may change my mind) plus I really don't like that "rocky" finish on the arms and leg's.

Hehe, would love to post a review Nikodiablo but I haven't been home in a while(still at work out of town), I have even yet to open the SOC Ideon. Most likely I'll be posting a review sometime in the first week of May, when I get back. But if anyone has the time please feel free to do a review. In the meantime here're some pics by Kabuto Koji from the MR Forums. Not quite as tall as I was expecting but I think it's taller than the CM's Patlabor. But the toy looks great and seems to have plenty of diecast. BTW can anyone please post the exact height of the Goshogun in Meters? I don't have my Super Robot Wars PS2 game with me at the moment(it has an in-game encyclopedia for Super Robots) Gold
