That's really freakin cool! It looks a little too contemporary to be a SOC, but I could be wrong?
I was wishing for a Fewture version of Jeeg a few months ago. Maybe the Chogokin fairy was listening.

To early to tell, I wish I knew what the saying at the top means. If it is a diecast figure from Bandai it could be a SOC (which I doubt because it's too new a design) a GD figure like Legend of Daikumaryu Gaiking or a SOC Spec figure.

On the left side of the page it says "157mm" (about 6 inches) It's too big for Revoltech and a little bit small for SOC...so who knows... But it's definately a plan for a figure!

6.18 inches...I would have wanted it taller. As long as it has a lot of diecast, I'm in!

<LOL> Kinda sets the mood for a Mazinkaiser SOC, doesn't it!
SOC figs have always had magnetic joints in some of their parts; so, it wouldn't surprise me if Bandai wants to take on the new-Generation super-robots, starting with Shin Kotetsu Jeeg as a guinea pig to test fans in the SOC market before moving on to the Kaiser and others.
No matter what becomes of this, I'm still droolin over these new figs comin out this year and next.
by the way, Hi All! <LOL> (just checkin my mails, still offline... the band's been Busy, and our debut cd is out.)
Talk to y'all soon...
Bearhugs, zozo-Magengar

So it says "Chogokin" then? Cool. Also, I just realized Jeeg might be a slightly smaller robot than the Mazingers and Getters. 6.18" is about the same height as the Evas and Mazinger-angels...so it could still be a SOC (or at least scale with it)! What's up Magengar!! ;D ;D

Zozo!! You're back!! Been busy recording, eh?
Knowing Bandai, this will probably go under the GD or GE line, or even possibly, the SOC Spec series (XS).

Yeah that looks awesome! 6.18" is just about the size of the other SOC Go Nagai bots, right? Seems pretty accurate.

Soul of Chogokin New Jeeg? Hehe, guess Bandai's finally going to start producing more modern robots for the SOC line. Too bad they didn't release the original Jeeg first. If they release this figure will the Jeeg Bazooka that would rock! The Bazooka is bigger than new Jeeg. Gold

It says chogokin with the soul of part in parintheses. I remember seeing similar notation when the chogokin doraemon blueprints showed up. I bet it'll be in the normal chogokin line.
