Does he have any leg articulation at all in the knee? Ehhhh yes and no... by which I mean, Sphinx has a weird and bad-looking type of knee articulation, which becomes completely useless when the robots combine in Godmars. If you are going to display this toy combined, forget action poses, Godmars will need to stand upright, the only thing you can work with are the arms and the head, nothing else it still looks cool, as a shelf-warmer... There are ways to make him pose at the knee and hip by opening the little doors you can move the legs forward and underneath the door it bends like a knee. Neither is very appealing to look at but they do allow for some a little extra movement. My concern is can he hold his sword up in the air. The shoulder mechanism sucks on mine it can barely hold its own weight let alone the sword. I really hope that has been fixed

If you want a posable Godmars, you could always get the Dynamite Action one. It's pretty crappy for everything else, but the combined form appears to be a lot more posable than the SoC. It's a lot cheaper too.

Mark that down as another toy I never thought I'd actually own some day. My concern is can he hold his sword up in the air. The shoulder mechanism sucks on mine it can barely hold its own weight let alone the sword. I really hope that has been fixed You've probably tried this already, but...have you tried plugging Uranis in at a 90 degree angle? As in plugging the arm in while holding it forward rather than down.

It's gotta be said, the individual robots do look great. Hey at least this Godmars is more poseable than the vintage one Even if all you're gonna pose is the arms, it's still something.

Well, Godmars is barely animate in the anime, so in that regard it's pretty accurate.

I haven't tried that yet. Im gonna definitely plug uranus at a 90 degree angle. Every time I've plugged Uranus it was done vertically. Maybe that is whey he is always sagging and cant keep his sword erect

I noticed I have mine posed with left arm in the air,is the green arm an issue for you guys too or just the sword arm? I know my sword arm is fine on the transformed GodMars just checked... Try putting sword in green arm maybe? You may have better luck..as one of them at least shoudl be better tensed.

I can only guess that the shoulder connector, despite appearing to be a square, is not perfectly symmetrical, and Uranus comes with his rotated 90 degrees compared to Titan straight out of the box.
At least that's as far as I've figured it.

Well, Godmars is barely animate in the anime, so in that regard it's pretty accurate. True. Godmars mostly just floated in space, and sliced its enemies. Definitely not as active as other combiners like Dairugger XV and Golion. }D

I felt bummed by the stand that came with Godmars since it could only hold the sword, Gaia or Cosmo Crusher but all three at once, so I made use of one of the Tamashii trident stands... ...and voilá.

I like big bots and I cannot lie. You other robots can't deny Cause when a bot walk in with a itty bitty waist and a round fist in your face You get punched! Wanna get up drunk cause you noticed that bot was buff Deep in my mind I'm thinking, I'm scared so kept on running. Boo yah, God Mars just kick Ya. And you still want take more pict-chas.

I know godmars has been released through tamashi nations, eg the stock that BBTS has, however on amazon it has a release date of mid November at an inflated price (over $300), how does this release relate to the stuff already available, maybe just stock that another seller is getting in? Or is that amazons official release date? Just curious.
thanks.

Nice idea with stand Tetsuryu,I kept the jets in teh box, they dont seem to fit the same aesthetic as the robot, even though they are part of the anime, they look odd, like a GiJoe in Star Wars world.BUt the way you set them up helps alot!

I have a question for those who recently purchased God Mars or are about to open the box. How does the styrofoam tray holding the 6 robots have its thin styrofoam lid kept in place when the box is opened for the first time?
I am wondering if my God Mars box was opened and inspected by the seller or by Bluefin. I know the the main outer cardboard box had the tape cut on one of the side openings and there was some damage maybe from opening that side.

God Mars is the highest-end, most awesome robot I have bought. That must put me on my guard about his condition on arrival. His bright multicolored patterned design is really welcome in the middle of winter. Specifically I was wondering, how is the styrofoam lid taped to the styrofoam tray?
