Just letting you know: that first pic is now my desktop wallpaper it's gorgeous, really. Thank you so much! I very much appreciate that. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Felt a rattling inside of one of the God Mars Bots (Uranus), and when I go to Transform it boom: I can't even write this crap. The piece that connects it in arm mode was broken and shaking around inside of him. The good part is that the seller was just like screw it and refunded me the entire payment and told me not to ship it back. Apparently she'd tried to sell it on Amazon first, and it got returned to which Amazon didn't give her any description as to what was wrong with it. She said that when she'd checked it nothing looked wrong so she sold it as new again. I can believe that because I've bought returned items items from Amazon and gotten a completely different toy in the box as well as the fact that everything checked out fine to me on these until I went to transform them. Their condition is 100% mint minus that flaw and to my naked eye even they came off as new and untouched. So, no harm no foul because I have another coming Monday and will have two to display in both modes for the price of one, but damn.

On the plus side, now you got 2 Godmarses (Gods-mars? Godmars-s?) and yeah, you can display the broken one uncombined, and the good one combined I'd hate to have 2 copies of the same toy in my collection. But hey, if you get one for free, why not?

I would love to see if I can fix it... Yeap... just like Tony Stark, I enjoy fixing things. }D

For Robot Base KumaStyle, thank you. I appreciate your time to help me out with such a specific photo request. Plus it was in the middle of unboxing for you. Plus you did the post-production for red indicator lines! You didn't mess around. That is the same taping I saw when I received Godmars. I would buy again from the seller I bought from for future SOC and SRC. I appreciate the help to make seller choices as best as possible. I am glad your seller gave you a full refund with no delay and was up front about the history. 1 set combined, 1 set uncombined. Buy 6 Robots, Get 6 Free! TheMazingerZ is going to design some one-of-a-kind fix or maybe re-design and upgrade the whole set. You came up with a good pose for Gaia!

easy fix if you want to spend a little money to di it right. get the piece machined at a machine shop. Better yet have a run of a hundredor so that work better and hold the arm up properly. That is a problem on these and needs to see some aftermarket fixes available ame with the CMS Gordian Knee. Anyone else have any much needed fixes. oh the MP VV all over the place

No prob GrB.
crp- most of the time, ez fix doesn't refer to something you have to go elswewherr get done, lmao. I'm interested in the cost of that now, though. If it's a big de with the product, it may be worth it.

Update: found a welder in town who does specialty stuff and says he'll look at it on my day off Wednesday. If he can get that back together, then sweet deal on a free one that's functional.
My second one is at home waiting so fingers crossed it's good.

That metal piece looks like it's nickle plated which means most forms of soldering or welding won't work. The piece might need to be acid dipped to remove the finish and hopefully the other piece can be removed from the figure because any kind of heat used will need to be extremely high and will melt the plastic and paint on the toy. If he can't find a way to weld/solder them you may look into buying stuff like liquid weld. www.jbweld.com/product/j-b-weld/

Why would you hate to have two copies? because of the space needed?Because I have basically 2 copies of all my toys, one for Robot mode, one for vehicle mode, and display both.Even if you didnt want to do that, you can have one boxed and oen displayed.I cant think of any reason why you wouldnt want 2 copies of a toy other than the space it takes in your home/detolfs. I have 2 Godmars and 2 Godsigma both displayed on one shelf! I wouldnt sell a set of either for anything! One thing about Godmars that I dislike an dthat does NOT seem to pair well with the toy is hat stupid Airplane it comes with LOL.I know its part of the anime, but it does NOT display well with the robots.

It's exaclty that, the fact that it'd take up too much space. Having 2 copiesof the same toy would be redundant, if I wanted to see a combiner in a different mode than what I have it displayed in, I'd just take it out of the shelf and transform it, then put it back in I don't need to see both modes at the same time, and keeping 2 boxes of the same kind would become a problem in the rlong run (storage space).

I love taking my toys and transforming them every once in a while Sometimes, when I'm lounging around on the couch watching a movie or something, I take a Transformer or something with me to keep my hands occupied.

I dont like to transform anything more than once to put stress on the toys, and I like the look to display both,I can say "hey this is what therobot does,"when people come to see it."It turns into that there" ..instead of transforminfg it to show. Its all about the display for me so that is why i like both modes,my collection has been praised numerous times because I show both modes. But If you dont have that kind of room,I can see the point surely!Just what I like,we all like different things.I hate boxes, they take up my whole storage space in my cellar.

Mhm I'd transform a toy a lot of times only if it had tight joints. Like it happened for my GX-59 Daltanious, the little humanoid robot Atlas was insanely tight to transform (the first time I did, I hurt my fingers in the process). So I decided to transform it, only Atlas, a few times, just to loosen the joints a bit and make it easier to transform it next time around. And now it's better. Of course, I'd like to avoid transforming a figure too much, for the same reasons you pointed out.

I have some problem with my SOC Godmars, i bought it second hand and after few transformation shin arm got something broke inside, it seem like a black plastic rod thing which does not effect the transformation beside it will get caught when trying to collapse the arm, and i have to shake it a bit to position it somewhere else so the arm can collapse. I been trying to remove it from the cavity in his fore arm so far no luck.
and worse part is i see no screw hole on this to dismantle and take it out or fix it back with super glue. anybody has this issue?
Anyone have any idea how to open Shin forearm so i can remove that piece. really a bummer i got a great deal for this set and all was nice and shiny...
