exactly my point also, this is the first time (or i maybe wrong) that i saw a newer version that is bigger that its old version. This made me order godmars notwithstanding i knew nothing bout the robot. The size really makes a BIG difference. i do hope bandai will keep this trend in their future robots. that would be totally cool. If you remember, the GX-13 Dancougar was made bigger and better than it's original counterpart. Welcome back, kenichi! Where have you been? oh yes i remember dancouga. my memory is failing me. must be due to the medications i am taking. Anyway, thanks for the welcome nikodiablo. Glad to be back at robot-japan. Yes its been a while since ive been gone. My long absence was due to a sickness (thyrotoxic periodic paralysis). Ive been out of office for four (4) months and it was a scary experience. I consider this as my second life now in view of my near to death experience. One of the side effect of the medicines is memory lapse which i think i am experiencing right now. Anyway, im glad to see you guys again. God has been very kind to me for letting me live again to see this wonderful toys. he he he.

Glad to hear that you're all better now. Prepare to dig deep into your pocket, since 2008 is going to be very expensive for toys... God Marz, Raideen, Daimos - and not counting CMS Legioss/TREAD combo if you're into Mospeada too, along with new Yamato 1/60 valkyries!

the only downfall to making them bigger is that it would make them more expensive. I think they try to make them in scale to certain other lines. that way u have ur getters and maz's all the same size. i think combattler and voltes v are also the same size. i agree. the bigger the size, the bigger the price. Its quite relative to each other since bigger size would mean more materials, more materials means an increase in production cost, more production cost means higher price. As long as we get our moneys worth i think its ok to add just a few bucks. Nonetheless, im really quite happy in getting the godmars, i really like the engineering bandai puts in this SOC. i bet we all agree on this (or it is only I? ) he he he.

You can find the CMS mospeada and the Yamato macross info in the macross section. There's a thread about CMS Dancouga nova started recently by xiombarg in the SOC section, and before I forget, there are new releases from the SOC Spec line if you are interested - particularly EVAS and the eagerly awaited Black Serena (also SOC Shin Jeeg too!).

Oh yes i heard about this SOC spec. Fully articulated mecha at a much lower price than their SOC counterpart not to mention the removable armors. Especially the highly anticipated 13 inch (correct me if im wrong) positron rifle and th Black Serena. In fact im beginning to scour our local supplier for EVA spec as my fren told me that they are much bigger than the SOC EVA. I guess its time for me to start collecting the EVAs. he he he btw is there already a pics of this rifle in the net???. Saw the CMS Dancouga Nova thread bro, the price is insanely high if i may say. I like the design and the robot itself but the price is just way beyond my reach. So there are also an upcoming SOC Jeeg. Are there blue prints already. Surely, this year surely is bloody.... for our wallets that is. he he he

I remember Chen posting some early blueprints of the SOC Shin Jeeg, it even has the diagram of the motorcycle transforming head.
Back to Godmarz, I was kinda hoping that the legs of Ra and Shin will be able to retract, since the Godmarz' legs seems too long, and it has the gaps where the legs of Ra and Shin meet. Otherwise, I have no other complaints.
I'm hoping local suppliers will have this bot ready by the time of the 4th Jakarta Toyfair in April, but it seems unlikely. Still keeping my fingers crossed, tho!

Well, in my last post bout God Marz I said that Popy God Marz is better than SOC. Man, I hate to say this, I'll take my words back . This guy totally awesome !, from the first time I saw it's blueprints I though that it would never be as tall as my Popy God Marz. But I'm totally wrong (yeah, I know U're happy bout this ). And I like the way Bandai solving this guy's back, totally neat and clean! not as crowded as POPY version. Bandai did their best engineering so far. well there are some minor point off course (especially in it's price tag, I believe Bandai did nothing to solve this hehehehe), but they're will be eclipsed by it's looks anyway . overall, this baby rocks!!! Still love my old Popy, but hats off for SOC God Marz !!!

Replacing my old popy eh? looks so damn tempting but I have to think bout it again and again, cause there are still lot of preorder stuffs left to be paid. Curse my damn wallet ! hehehe Well, I haven't decide it yet. But I wish my damn job won't kill me so I have a little time to come to that hoola boola toying party . I'll let U know if I were there. There's lotta SPAWN fans at there comparing to our tiny super robots community. But who cares, It would be fun anyway hehehe

Nice knowing that another countrymen frequents this board too! The 4th Jakarta Toyfair is tentatively scheduled in April, maybe around the 11 - 12th. The exact date has not been set up yet. Fore more detail you can check at forum.kafegaul.com, they have a whole thread dedicated to the event in the koleksi barang section.
Hope we can meet there, bro! Gokin collector is scarce in Indonesia!
