Black Ox reminds me of CM's Griffon a little. Regardless, the Tetsujin 28 & Black Ox look awesome. Wish Bandai would release them back-to-back.

Awesome!! a perfect reincarnation of his elder chogokin brother. Since his chogokin predecessors are hard to get. This baby will do his job very well I think.

The proportions on the T28 look all wrong. Scroll up and down on the previous page of this thread. The blueprint looked great, but they did not follow it. The waist and thighs are too thin, and the neck flares out too much. This would have rocked if they stuck with the original concept. As is, this is just OK.

The Tetsujin 28 looks pretty awesome to me, but there is something about the Black Ox that does not make it too appealing. It might be the "ears" or maybe the face...

The proportions on the T28 look all wrong. I matched the toy up with the blueprint in photoshop to check the proportions...looks like the neck is a little longer, shoulders are a little bigger, and the thighs a little shorter. The main difference is in the upper body....it's significantly bigger than the blueprint version. I still think it looks great though and yea, the face on the black ox is what's setting me off.

I just want a Black Ox FX. I can pass on the Go series, but I would be all over diecast FX SOCS.

Oh yeah, the tetsujin 28 FX and Black OX FX would be great too. In the meantime, I will be definitely getting these two. I really hope the come together as a set...

Looking at the cards, I think these are coming out this year?? Gold 2008 Winter!! Sweet! I'm picking it up! T-28 looks a bit slimmer than the live-action movie version, but he doesn't look that much different from the way he appears in the 80's anime. I'm digging it. I guess the new physique is influenced by a growing focus on being fit? Kind of like McDonald's Ronald McDonald has been slimmed down for the new generation? Whatever the reason, I think it looks pretty sharp. Looking forward to picking it up!
