NICE , but how do you use bit torrents? You need to download bittorent clients like: abc torrent, G3, etc. in order to be able to download torrents. ;D SGP

I go with Bit-Tornado... it's got a plain interface like the official bittorrent client but with a couple of extra features that I find really handy. (BTW, if you're completely unfamiliar with BT, you should read about it first because newbies tend to overload their bandwidth; be careful).
As for the download - it's pretty neat. It's like a mini-web-site: you read it in your browser and contains several wallpapers, videos, and other graphics.

Thanks for the info. I too am hoping to see a decent Starvengers copy.
BTW, does anybody know where I can get a Combattler torrent? I know there is the "whole series" out there but I just want one episode, any episode will do. I tried to DL the whole series but it is just to slow and too BIG.

I saw something on boxtorrent. But you're going to have to try to register (I think the first of everymonth to get it). Chen might be able to help you. I think he found a torrent ages ago.

IIRC correctly, you only have to register with Boxtorrents if you want to search the pages or post your own torrents to share. You should be able to browse the hundreds of torrents without signing in. But since it'd take forever for that, I've saved you the trouble. Download the complete Combattler fansub here!

Orbitron: Can you send me ONE episode. Preferably one with a lot of Combattler action. What's the best way to do this? I actually have the first 4 episodes from that complete series torrent but would NOT work at all. I still have them on my hard drive. Do I need to DL all 50+ episodes for it to run or do I need a special codec? I have installed quite a few additional codecs and still does NOT work. Ben-Ohki: That is where I got my 4 episodes and I stopped. Too big / too slow. Kidchuckle: A thousand pardons. I don't mean to hijack your thread ;D

This is the codec pack I use zman cccp-project.net/ it seems to work for pretty much all the torrents I download. To download an episode from someone else hard drive you need to download a program.

Been kind of curious about combattler. Never grew up seeing it. Closest thing i remember to that is Shogun Warriors.

It's important to understand how torrent technology works. The concept behind the impossible volumes of data involved is that not everyone has every file in the torrent - only SEEDS do. Everybody else just shares what they have - including bits and pieces of individual files inside the torrent. The client figures out what you've got and what everybody else has in order to download what you're missing and then reconstruct the files on your drive.
Certain BT clients will allow you to select which files to download first. This means the client will wait and grab only available pieces of files that are required to finish off the file you WANT first! If you don't prioritize, then the client grabs anything it sees on the torrent that you didn't have yet. Since it's impossible to allocate space for "parts of incomplete files" some clients will just add to the file-sizes starting from the first file in the set and go from there. In the case of zman's Combattler torrent, it probably means that although they look like complete files in Windows Explorer, you actually have bits and pieces of all 52 episodes, but the client just allocated them to the first 4 files because that's the approximate amount of disk space all those scraps take up.
Anyway, this is why in my first post I mentioned being careful with torrents. It requires lots of bandwidth (because you need to upload what you've got so far to others in order to download what they've got) and lots of space (since torrents sometimes are gigs at a time).

I don't think falconhood is hooking his VCR up to his computer to convert his VHS to DVD. He is simply hooking up his VCR to a DVD recorder machine. One way to get pass the copy protection is to buy that GO VIDEO device. Small box that removes the protection. But it cost like 100$, which isn't worth it.
