I happen to think the Fewture Great Mazinga rocks, Dix Neuf is great for plastic, CM toys are quite excellent, then Baikanfu was an unexpected hit....
We should probably group with at least 2 price points or two material types (diecast/ plastic). Ed

We almost have to have more than one category or it's an unfair competition, and I suppose price point makes the most sense. Plastic vs. diecast would be ok if it wasn't for resin figures.. Hmm, so how about maybe over $100 and under $100 as two separate categories? Would this work for everyone?

I'd just like things to stay simple... 2 basic tiers is doable although it will be extra work. No need to dissect it with a $50, $100, $150+ etc categories. We're not exactly giving away any statuettes here. :-)

I just went over to vote and it was a freakin tough decision! I could not decide which robot was better between at least eight choices in the $100 or more category. In years past I think I always had a firm idea of what I thought was the TOTY. It was like there was always the one that really stood out to me as being more innovative and well done.. but man, this year it seems like every company was really trying to put out excellent, top of the line products.
