It's been another amazing year for collecting robots and things just seem to get better and better! This thread is for the best figure of 2007 that cost MORE than $100. Be sure to also vote in the other TOTY thread for your choice of figures that cost $100 or less. You can vote in both threads. Again we would encourage everyone to consider the following criteria before voting: Engineering, sculpt, playability, quality and overall presentation of the product and packaging. Remember that we really aren't trying to have a popularity contest as much as a vote for the most deserving candidate. Thanks to all the members here that makes this the best forum on the web! If you see any problems with the vote or have any questions, please post in this thread. ----------------Update from Ed------------------- ------------------------------------------------------ Here are links and details in case you are not familiar with each toy: robotjapan.proboards12.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=1199420560

King Joe was less than $100, no? You are right, I apologize for this. With all the other pricey SOCs listed I wasn't paying close enough attention. I can move it to the other voting list, but I'm not sure that your votes can be retrofitted if you already voted for him. Where Joe already has two votes, I'll leave him here for now if that's ok with you guys that voted for him.

i'd go with fewture black ryoma, since it started the trend for fewtures getters and 1969, not like the SIC version, looks good but too plastic for me.

I came soooo close to picking Aoshima Blk Getter even though it's not as articulated/complex as others. It just represents so much coolness (Ryomaaaa!!!!)
Then I remembered it's also a Revoltech so I voted for something else.
Maybe in the future there should be a "super heavyweight" category of $200+?

Zillions of storm troopers, Jedi, and aliens. They even had a Princess Leia who looked just like Carrie Fisher. way too cool. JWM

I would've voted for the GFFMC RX-78-2 Gundam ver. Ka, but it catches smudges and fingerprint marks very easily. My vote goes to SOC Ideon instead.

We've got a nice race going between Fewture Great Mazinger and Ideon. Ideon caught a nice bunch of votes today.
I think it's great to see people voting for underdogs like King Joe. You never know though, I think Panda-Z won the TOTY a few years back? King Joe could certainly make it into the Final Vote.
Glad to see that somebody voted for the Max Factory Dann of Thursday. It's an excellent figure, and he missed being in the $100 or less category by roughly eight dollars.

My favorite for 2007 was CM's Goshogun. I loved the classic feel to it, the combining miniature ships, and the firing gimmick. It really reminded me of the chogokins I collected as a kid.
