It’s a very nice piece as GOLD mentioned Leg parts, of GGGG, leg and torso area of the cyborg/lion probably 40-50%? [Just because the area of the gao stealth/bird occupies a large portion of the overall toy.] Although, now I’m finding out that all of the flaws mentioned by GOLD holds true: i) The clips that should hold the GGGG legs in place when attached to the cyborg is too weak and lower GGGG legs tend to de-tach when the bot is lifted. Probably due to the miscalculation of “tension” required to hold the GGG legs due to all its metal content ii) It does tend to lean back again due to a weak knee joint as well as it being back heavy iii) Not too keen on the way the GGGG head attaches to the bot via a helmet to the cyborg head. iv) To me the most annoying thing about it is how it won’t stand on glass, it’ll slip and by itself given how the legs are apart and the weak joints v) Oh, yeah I wish they made a stand for the accessories just like GGG’s Other than these tolerable complaints, it really is a thing of beauty and commands your attention. I’m happy I decided on this baby It really is very reminiscent of the old godaikin toys with the Styrofoam accessories and combining feature. If I’m not mistaken this is the only GGGG fully transformable toy ever made thanks CM for making this, and I’m glad I held out for it

Hi Guys, My GGGG is here YAHOO!!! You're right Lurker, the box is huge. Can't wait to open it when I get home. Congrats! Just remember to go slow.. it took me almost 2 hours to put it together, for fear I might break something. You've got to watch out for the Shoulder fins.. I think those are the most sensitive parts. Oh, yeah, in case you missed it, the Gadget Gao's neck(GGGG's tail) can collapse to become on solid non-flexing neck(try pushing all the neck joints in) Gold

hey guys i just picked up the ova gaigaigar series because of my cm gggg I'm at episode 3 somehow it reminds me of transformers so I'm not warming up to it as fast but that doesn't change how I feel about GGG GGGG & GFG itself and these are the only three I intend to get.
I'm very new to this brave thing so does the genesic gaogaigar show up in the ova???

Yep, the Genesic appears on episode 6 in the OVA(the original OVA goes up only until part 8) Genesic appears in part 8 in the "Grand Glorious Gathering" expanded version of the OVA(new extra scenes added, expanded the OVA to 12 parts now.. the scenes were added to make the GGG Universe more "connected" to BetterMan, another anime from the same director) You can view some of the clips of Genesic in action here in case you don't have a copy of GGG Final 6 and above: robotjapan.proboards12.com/index.cgi?board=TakaraBrave&action=display&thread=1140559487&page=2Gold

Maybe it's just me, but it looks like people have difficulty making their model stand straight-legged?
I realize that having the feet planted further apart is a more dynamic pose, but is it hard to make the GGGG stand up with the feet planted together? Or is there a problem with the hip joints that makes it more of a necessity to pose it this way?
I'm just wondering, because (bad analogy coming up) my RiD Omega Prime (RiD Ultra Magnus + Fire Convoy combined) had to stand with the feet wide apart because the hip-joints wouldn't stay put. If I try to make the stance any narrower with him standing on a smooth surface, the feet slide outward under the weight of the model. What's worse: If the feet manage to pick up too much speed, there isn't enough friction in the hip joints to stop them, so poor Omega Prime ends up doing a terminal splits!
All of this is to say: Do GGGG models also have this "terminal splits" tendency?

So is the price on this thing dropping? Is now a good time to buy or will the price keep on coming down?

I think pretty much is that the Diamond priced stock is still plentiful right now. Not sure if its necessary a big drop, as I bought mine preordered at $150 shipped months ago before it came out in the U.S. But if you want one, now should be a very good time buying it. When you can get one around $150, its a way better deal than $190 + shipping(cost a lot, almost enough to buy the cheapest SOC if shipped from HLJ...T_T), which a lot of guys imported it had to pay months ago.

Been so many years since this figure has been released.
I wonder if we can get an SoC Gaofighgar and Genesic somewhere down the line.
Maybe a decade or so.
