These guys make great parts. So much easier to restore and make new the would be trash. I must have bought 3 different Red Barons to get all the parts I needed to make a complete one. Now if I could only score a few junkers to rebuild...

Price is my only issue, but given the Voltron's prices it was expected. I like the style way more than Jakks one,not a fan of over modern JMs

I kind of expected higher given it was Daidenjin, who seems to be the piece many need to complete Robot Factory set, but his condition wasn't great.

I saw urgent but recovery from fire would explain it. Ouch. That would suck but luckily enough they have multiple Spazers.

In LJN vs Popy the Popy has missile clips on thighs and launchers in mouths of hands, as well as sticker/paint differences. LJN motorized base screws off easily.

American LJN versions are pretty common on Ebay. Shouldn't be hard to get one. The Popy one's are a bit more and not as easy to come by. Patience is the key for collecting any Jumbo.

Curious…. The seller of the boxed Ultraman set is also the same seller as the multiple spazers and spazer box. Collector dumping off for a major purchase( I wonder if something extremely rare has come up)? Someone who found a few high ticket items for resale or someone who is reselling and doesn't have items?

I painted a mattel Gaiking black and gold almost 10 years ago, used Krylon Fusion as the base and its held up pretty well. All I did in prep was to barely scuff with a scotchbrite pad.

i dig it. I love that people are taking on projects like this. I really like the design and concept ideas just something about it has an almost "bootleg" proportion feel. Maybe its the thickness of the arms and legs. Can't quite place it. Definitely gonna keep my eye on it and try to grab one.

I'm always amazed to see how many have the thin clear thin wing piece still on there as it's just held on with a sticker. I don't know why I expected it to be more like a clear Getter 1 cape. How complete is yours?

Wasn't that playset the Death Star? Either way an Imperial Star Destroyer would rule. My son would require one.

I think a few collectors may be a bit bummed they didn't read entire description.I can see some of those prices with the boxes but without…ouch.
