Yeah 450 for Yutaka Getter is slowly creeping up( scored mine for 200 10+ years ago) I saw a lot of the robot factory and later JMs going for 4-600 back then.Giant Gorg is slowly climbing as well. Fiverobo seems to sit at same price not moving at all. Even Popy reideen and dragon are slow climbers as well,Im guessing because of readily available Shoguns for them. I'd still love a box for my popy reideen and dragun. I wish I could find an Ultraman Leo that wouldn't destroy my pockets,he and the villains have been on my hot list for so long.Like a fool I passed so many opportunities for the late model Jms when I had the chance to score them cheap holding out for these guys.

Was that combattler really mint in mint box? Did the original jumbos come with plastic? I always thought plastic was sometimes added by a seller on to make the jumbo look newer. Yes that price was huge yet a combattler without accessories and antenna (perfect for display for small time collectors) went for only 43,000 yen. I don't think you are going to get some pieces under two thousand these days loose. But pieces like Getter one and two, all the getter Gs, Tetsujin 28, grendizer are still pretty affordable if you are patient and you don't mind condition. My strategy is to try and get one a year. Unfortunately, looking at yhj, you are tempted to bid on everything. This was posted near 15 years ago. sixsite.com/jumboland/whatsrare.htmlLooks like what is considered hard to get has changed. That list of 10 hardest is even harder now, the ones you see frequently are fake villains. Robot factory pieces have become harder and harder to get with their rise in popularity. The late release JMs are ever popular now and command high prices but I wouldn't say they are rarer. The list 10 second easiest was definitely more so at that time, a few have moved into a higher bracket from interest but are still quite available. Easy to get is more of a "money is no option" kind of thing, anything can be priced astronomically and seem out of reach but some of those pieces you just plain don't see. I think seeing some pieces sit on YJp for a ridiculous amount of money (way overpriced) makes them seem more available when they really aren't. That being said that list of 10 easiest is almost just as easy 15 years later, no interest in some of the characters and the prices haven't gone up either ,while some of them have increased quite a bit and are a wee bit harder to find. I feel like I had my choice of Nakajima Jms 10 years ago and got excellent boxed specimens for a great price.I definitely remember seeing a lot of the guys off the lists with a frequency you'd expect from the list and order they appear. Just think of the frequency some of these have been showing up since this thread started, definitely out there and changing hands, just fetching a premium. I agree its hard not to just bid up everything and max out some credit cards.I find myself in the try to score 1 a year group as well, unless I can snag a deal , but a wife and 2 kids makes that tuff. The amount of resources available to fix up beater JMs is amazing these days, one can definitely turn a mess into a magnificent looking piece. I wonder how many more collectors there are now compared to 5, 10, 15, 20 years ago?

Most pieces in this hobby if you were rich enough and patient enough I think you could score close to MIB, but every time I see these prices going up I can't help but think of what a OG Garada K7 would fetch nowadays since its not something you can just buy. I'm not sure any one who owns one would part with it after searching a lifetime for it.If i remember correctly when 2 of the 3 sold they were 16k and 30k 10 years ago. Everything seems to be 6x in price now for high interest pieces( some prices are still almost the same as 10 years ago) could this push it into 90k-180k range? Is there a ceiling to this hobby?

He'd need to step it up big time to compete in JMs now a days.

937,999 for pretty minty Combattler. I wouldn't have expected over 5k for it.

I'd love repro'd villains since many OGs are way out of my reach, and I'd even be happy if something was maybe painted a diff color or had a very obvious adjustment so you could tell at first glance. Hell i like my U5 garada even though he is no where near as cool as OG K7,If he only captured the essence a little more and didn't seem quite such a modern interpretation.
I just HATE the people passing frauds as real to rake in the cash. You could still make a good bit off custom obvious "tributes" , they aren't cheap to make but a lot of people would be into them. One of these days I will have villains back into the collection…I droll at everyone I see on the auction block. Kingdan you will be mine one day..I can't think of a villain I don't like.

The popy is awesome but for me I just have the LJN, there are other JMs I'd like to get before replacing LJN with Popy. The additional features are cool but the Popy box artwork is always one of my favorite parts.

A titan is quite the rare piece. It would be sacrilegious to try to make a gordian from it, unless I missed a discovery of a truck load of Titans. I haven't seen many come up for sale.Last one I saw was years ago, I'd imagine Gordian is an easier pickup, unless like I said I missed something..

Did a V3 sell for 1400 or a Kamen Rider X? The price on Daltanious wasn't too shocking, roughly $4200? No box and being a fart away from broken legs kept it from spiraling out of control. I think I'm more shocked by the Gren Ghost C3 for such a low price of 668,089Y Was wondering if it was KO.Didnt get a chance to really look over it.

i used fusion many years ago on a black and gold gaining i did and it he'd up great for the body and all. I'd imagine a light misting may help but testers is used on raw plastic for model kits all day long

If it was just worn and needed repainting not a repair I probably would have just cleaned it well and painted over it.Old paint is a base coat primer in the color you need, offers adhesion ,and a map of what goes where.

They make glass doors for the Ikea Billy shelves as well. I personally am not a fan of JMs in detolfs, by the time bot and box are displayed you get two into a case,I don't have enough house for 20+ detolfs...
