I would rather have just the X3 without the special stand and have the price much lower.
But I guess Bandai just wants to earn more $$$ out of this exclusive.
The box is going to be so big because of a "redundant" stand.

Gold Frame PO starts on 2 Dec. anyone here knows how to source the PO links of CDJapan before it goes “live”? Does it have a holding page like amiami?
I have never been able to get any PO from CDJapan for metal build items. By the time the link pops up on their main page, the item is already sold out.
Do second and third waves of pre-orders sell-out just as fast in the Asian markets?
Only Japan has the second wave of pre-orders. All other Asia markets don't have it.

Wow, 10 hours later, still available! p-bandai.com/us/item/N2548073001001On the other hand, I heard from Toysdaily that it was quite a different story from P-Bandai HK, where people had a hard time checkout or stuck at Paypal. Asia market is totally different story vs North America, especially in HK!! It's a bloodbath for the Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore P-Bandai sites. Any metal build pre-orders are sold out instantly. You click on the pre-order button once the clock strikes 4pm. And you wait for the next few minutes to see if it goes into your cart. If it shows page error. Most likely it's gone. If it goes into your cart, it is still 50-50. When you click on check out, if the page shows "insufficient/no stock", game over. If you go to the next steps to verify your address details etc and click on "payment", it is game over if the page shows "insufficient/no stock". So basically to get your metal build pre-order in Asia, you have to pass 4 stages. And at any stage the item could be sold out. In short, pre-orders for metal build in the Asia sites outside of Japan is usually over in 1 min. If we only we had sufficient stocks like the US site.

Till date I have not seen any official pictures of a Metal Build Perfect Strike Gundam. Nor have I come across any video where the Aile Striker jet pack can be attached to the Strike Gundam together with the launcher striker. Maybe Bandai is holding back from showing this till the Sword Striker is released.

Yes just give us 4 pieces of shiny blue plastic packed in a single plastic tray encased by a compact box. We don’t need a huge empty box to inflate shipping fees

Here's keeping my fingers crossed that nin nin fulfills my lightning strike MB since it's sold out in Japan. I see they are sold out too so hopefully they sold within what they secured, rather than oversell like NY and take forever to deliver. And with the covid situation, I opted for DHL/Fedex to play safe on shippinhg delays. Same here. They were a bit slow (2 weeks after release) sending out my GFFMC Snow White, and I had to email them about it, but it made it in the end. Did you use DHL? I had the same issue with other sites when I used EMS. Took them close to a week to send out the items in stock. For NY when I upgraded the shipping to UPS, they sent out the item immediately.

I live in Asia. EMS used to take 2-3 days to reach me after the item arrives at Japan Post. Now it takes 2-4 weeks.
I'd say we have to manage our expectations and those of you living in Europe or US may have to wait 1-2 months or even 3 months to get your shipment.
EMS is also the only method of shipping accepted currently so we have to use it if we want to get our items, as there is no telling when this pandemic will ease.

There are delays to EMS services now. My item from CDJ has been sitting in Japan post since 9 August and no movement since then. We just need to be more patient or pay much higher shipping fees for DHL/Fedex.

Congrats to those of you in the US. Stocks are still plenty for the Gold Frame as of now and purchase is a breeze.
Can't say the same for Asia except Japan. We are totally sold out instantly. Got to have to buy from the likes of NY or AE.

Thanks for watching. The decals were a smart idea for collectors who are looking forward to have a platoon of Zakus. And the sheer weight of the figure does justice to the metal composite tag. Really impressed with this piece and looking forward to get another 1 or 2 at least.

Here's a sweet and short video review from me. Personally I feel this is the best one till date for the FA series. Happy to get it during this difficult period.
